How to safely un-hitch your caravan from your car (AL-KO Hitch)

[Music] so here's the caravan we've arrived at a site or location we want to disconnect them the first thing we must always do is put on the handbrake obviously particularly important on a slope but even on a flat surface so to lower the jockey wheel undo the side clamp and then tighten it back up again disconnect the electrics turning 90 degrees and to clockwise under the breakaway cable and then remove the outer handle top handle and then as you unwind moving the jockey wheel anti-clockwise if you lift up the hitch handle you will find that they separate just occasionally if you are parked on a slope particularly where the caravan is below the car they can stick and you may need to wind further or perhaps move the car back slightly but there they are safely disconnected thank you [Music]
