How to S Rank Goopy le Grande | Cuphead

look i get it you beat cuphead on normal you're really big and tough i know but s ranking cuphead is way harder than just beating you regularly thankfully the early bosses are still kind of a joke if you know what you're doing we're all slimeball here you'll be able to clear it in less than 80 seconds if you follow my advice so for those of you who don't remember in order to s-rank a boss you need the following you need to beat it in less than two minutes you need to parry three times you need to not get hit you need to use six bars of your super and you need to play on expert mode for myself i like to run spread and roundabout but honestly all you really need is spread you can use any other weapon you like instead of roundabout but the the really important thing is to have smoke bomb smoke bomb is going to save your bacon i promise you so goopy is one of the easiest bosses in the game but he can still be a little tricky if you're determined to using spreadshot the entire time try to stick to him as close as possible so you hit him with the maximum number of bullets using spread is only really worth it if most of your bullets hit so if you're not comfortable being that close to him switch to a ranged weapon like roundabout or peashooter or whatever you want and keep your distance compared to normal mode on expert mode his jumps are faster and more unpredictable and he can catch you off guard if you aren't paying attention remember he will only turn around when he reaches the edge of the map so if you can get behind him you've bought yourself a few seconds of time before he becomes a problem again if you screwed up and you can see you're gonna get hit this is where you use smoke bomb to get away when he's in his first phase smoke bomb should have enough distance to get you to a safe place regardless of which direction you're facing when he does his big headbutt attack or the big punch later on in phase two just duck underneath and switch to spread you can get some big damage if you pressed him right up against his armpit when he transforms you must must parry all three of these question marks once you have all three parries you should have enough for your big super so use it right away uh and then switch back to spreadshot because in phase two goopy is dummy thick you should be able to hit it with most of your bullets with spread but you can always use a ranged weapon if you're a baby smoke bomb is going to be invaluable to help you escape these sticky situations but since he's so much bigger you have to be a little more careful where you end up after you teleport when phase 3 starts make sure you're using spreadshot jump up and use the ex attack right when you're over his face on the tombstone when he's not falling on you the tombstone doesn't actually hurt you so all eight of your massive ex bullets will hit him right in the jaw other than that this fight is way way easier boom so easy if you have any questions ask me in the comments below so [Music] you
