How to Reset Apple ID Password

[Music] hey guys if you forgot your Apple ID password it's very easy to actually reset it and that doesn't matter if it's on your iPhone iPad MacBook any we're just going to Google type in app yd and from there you're gonna see the very first thing where it says Apple ID Apple com so that's right here so that's Apple ID dot Apple com just go right into there so if you scroll down just a little bit you will see forgot Apple ID or password that's exactly where we need to go so let's click right there once you click there you will see this and right here is where you have to put in your Apple ID so we're gonna go ahead and just paste our Apple ID right in there click on continue and right here it's where you have to confirm your phone number so that's the phone number that you entered in order to activate your app ID when you made it so at this point just putting that phone number it's gonna be different for everybody so this is the phone number that I have however does not mean that this is gonna work for you because you might have a different phone number most likely you will so let's click on continue and from there they're gonna send us a code to our phone number so just make sure that your phone number is an actual real phone number and then check your text messages because this will actually be a text message now let's say you've been waiting for a little bit and there's still no verification code sent you well down here below you will see didn't get verification code so go ahead and click right there you're gonna see these options you can make a call or recent text so in this case we're just gonna click on recent text so right here you guys can see my phone and I'm gonna go right into it here's my text message from Apple so that's my code right there six eight zero three eight one that's for me you would get a different code when you're resetting your own Apple ID once you put in that code just click on next or continue in this case and then you would get another code sent to your email address so in this case my email address right here I can go ahead go right into my email here we go it tells me verify your email address and that's from Apple's I'm gonna click right there and just in case there's a lot of fake emails from Apple going on so don't just make sure that it comes from Apple so make sure that it actually comes from right here this email address which is from Apple itself if you scroll down a little bit we're gonna see the code that app which is gave us so this is the code that I put just gave me and that's my email in this case I do have a gmail address and that's why they sent it over to my gmail so I'm gonna go back here I'm gonna go ahead and paste that in click on continue and finally I can set a new password just make sure that you remember this password don't make it too easy extend people will guess it or it really easy to hack I suggest using something that's not easy to guess and make sure that you have some symbols in there as well as numbers so here we go I answered a brand new password and made it pretty long this time I'm gonna hit on continue on and right now my password has been reset so now finally I can log in into my Apple ID without any prompt so I can go ahead and click go to your account once you click on go to your account you will be looking at this so enter your ID once again then you will see this error on the side just press on that arrow and put in your password once again we're just gonna press on that error in this case we don't have to factor so I did get right now a text message from Apple so again right here I can see the message that just came from Apple so this time it's 6 0 9 5 3 3 once I put that in it's gonna just log me into my account and I'm ready to go so right here I can view my account and I can make any changes I can even change my password again if I wanted to since I'm already in here anyways that would be it for this video if you guys have any comments questions you guys can write down here in comments area don't forget subscribe in rate thank you [Music] [Applause] [Music] Oh
