[Music] all right so the project at hand here we're gonna be swap out tracks on this Bobcat MT 85 you see these tracks are pretty worn down much luck to them we're gonna upgrade into these non-marking Bobcat tracks we usually sell out on sidewalks and driveways we don't want to be scuffing up the concrete so we'll be swapping out both of them there's some tools I'm gonna use think I got jack stands yet two wooden blocks here about 8x8 a 9/16 ratcheting wrench you can use a regular wrench treating a sock at the end you have one I got a half inch ratchet and inch and 1/2 socket we got a big pry bar here and we got our new tracks so I'll do a little step-by-step walking through how to change these I have not done one of these yet on the 85 I've done these multiple times on the larger equipment T 192 250 46 50 so this is going to be new for me so [Music] [Music] I guess we'll see how this works here we got two blocks here in the back and ther one on each side we have a jack stand up underneath the middle so if the arms start from side ralick pressure the whole machine won't float down on us so I'd normally do it with my full-size machines this is my bill with different for this machine I guess we'll see if I able to make any changes so she uses the big basically a big nut here this is what makes your adjustment so when they come in the factory and the South should be used to keep the track tight you put this spacer plate on here I already took it off but then you got a 7 a 9/16 had a nut here that goes in there to keep this from turning so that comes out with United sixteenths this plate comes off and then you gotta turn that and it should start to bring the back out right back bring the back in that locks the track tensioner on she's in a 9/16 ratcheting wrench you can use the 9/16 wrench or just a regular socket and ratchet through 9/16 once he gets that plate off you can use his 1/2 inch ratchet there's this inch and a half socket on there to take the tension off the track so we can get the old track off now he's got a big wrench up there he's gonna turn that clockwise clockwise facing the front end machine what we're gonna be watching is real trite this slider here we're watching that we want that to start going that way and for this whole back roll it or circling with it I'm not really impressed with MTA t5 undercarriages handle of multiple things this bottom roller we got to pull this out put them to get this tension and go all the way in and that's kind of a little design my opinion Plus every single one of these rollers how many is there there's five rollers across the bottom and two oilers on each end both of those all those rollers have reached fittings on them which you need two people in order to be able to get grease fittings even around yet one guy to operate it back and forth and the other got to find them and dig them out grant you they put do put two on at least the bottom rollers that still is just terrible designing will have to get maintained this pretty much impossible [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] cut cut cut let's do it again come on let's take it from the top ready go high on this particular machine we have the wide track option so we have about a 9 inch track so what they do in order to keep well people who want the slim track this is your stock with here they put this big spacer plate on the outside and they pretty much move everything out you have the wide track on there so and they say that when you want to go from narrow track to wide track you need to put a big plate on there and adapter this machine definitely requires that [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] this is where that one roller goes that we deploy what happens is when you go to collapse this track hole back in this rollers in the way you got to pull it out when you go to put it back in now you got to push it out this enough that we can fold up you got what the roller and I first I mean I'm talking about this so basically gotta put this roll clean grease rather that up yeah I'm just gonna grease them up just so they stick that's all we're looking for [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] here they are on the mt-25 they might not be the best looking thing but they're gonna serve a lot more functionality to us and the black trash did way more tread less slipping around and slidin and the non-marking part is the biggest piece thanks for watching you
