[Music] you all right so we were working on this machine today we're just picking up our now I just loaded up our t 650 we are changing this rear idler you kind of see that bearing shot in there the seal or whatever to the crap on us and the wheels been squealing and it's not sitting right overheating you can see it's not even on the casing right there it's completely out that bearings are show it's got signs of heat stress or whatnot but anyway so that's kind of the part of your hand we're taking it back to the shop it's uh they've been using it all week and they're really extremely dusty conditions so it needs a little bit of a little belt TLC you know cutting through this grass and all the dust and like Seamus this tube here you can't see he gets a chain behind her in a way it's like halfway full of dust and dirt so we're gonna take it back and repair that idler change it out I'll show you how to do that and some other service items cleaning greasing and getting it ready to come back out here and work for the week so alright stay tuned it was just me or they're just some days that are just really really bad like look at this weed whacker this is a new steel curved shaft at top trimmer no it got snapped in half and on top of that then this keatster broke he's out there untreated up and then over here trailer brakes are shot you get tires in her pad this tire bad Miller trail era King she doesn't work in this truck I got three attachments that are broken at all need repair I mean does everything come crashing out of one friggin time he's gonna demonstrate how not Tommo the skid steer because he's basically terrible at most things he does but we'll give him a shot anyway worst case Ontario we get a new one then we fire him for this time as you can tell he basically has no idea what he's doing and that's pretty much that simple he's got no idea [Music] - Shh [Music] shibby mine [Music] see the lights and he'll pick you up the phone [Applause] Manny Welsh insane [Music] the manicure only of [Music] so choose he'll be gone for all right so we gotta get this all cleaned out so we can take tension off there off the track and more clean before we need to start ripping innocent oh yeah buddy ran here he's gonna help us change this thing he doesn't know what he's do it again all right so here's some of tools over using a Dewalt impact half-inch that's gonna take off the idler there on the bottom defaults inch in 3/16 socket we have our new rear idler here with hardware a 9/16 wretching wrench you can use a regular wrench or a socket I got a socket here too and a 10 millimeter socket for the grease tensioner so I took the bucket off arms are up in the air I got my two jacks in the back on the front one in the back if I was doing both tracks I would Jack the whole machine up completely off the ground but it's really doing one side I am NOT gonna do that I'm just gonna do one side yeah my my safety bar in place here and then thing we need is couple pry bars which I got a big one you can see he's doing nothing again for those of you guys who run the Bobcats with the joystick controls has anybody actually use this switch right here let's switch right here the ISO and H patterns anybody actually use H for anything this is the only time I've ever found H and beneficial is when I'm changing tracks I'll switch it to H that way I can one run one track independent and get it off that's the only only time I ever use it I don't know anybody who runs the H pattern it's kind of a pain so I just leave a nice cell so down here I've taken off this cover here this is this for us to see that tensioners moving it's two bolts it's got a little hook here hooks in tight them down that one's a fixed fold same thing over here a little cover with a hook you have two different fittings in there the top one is to regress it's irregular grease fittings pressurized so you gotta use their specific grease fitting and the lower one's a bleeder screw which is used to take the tension off the temperature or the grease out of the tensioner so we can get a track off so first thing I'm gonna do is start with that we're we should not screw up and all the grease it's gonna come out at the same time later Dan's gonna Jack the machine up off the ground just enough that we can get the track you see the grief starting to come on now I just got a cracked this is gonna come out of here like crazy tell me where already oh that's crazy [Music] [Music] [Music] it's not the grease is coming out we got it checked up I got just enough that I can slide the track I want to eat the rollers but that it's not gonna be a pain to get it on so not too high too high actually can't worse cuz then you the track is saying at the bottom and you can't get it over the top so just a couple inches up so next thing we're to do is get inside the machine and fire it up and we're gonna put an H mode and we're gonna run the track around and we're gonna hope that the the pressure of bringing the track around it's gonna get the front roller up here to slide back in that way buddy dad here and again the Machine he's gonna type in his code he's uh you know he's really got a lot of time in this one 0.4 hours he's he's bragging about it hopefully you'll see all the grease will start coming out anymore there's a big old pile there now all the grease coming you gotta get bunch of the grease out as you possibly can that's gonna make breaking down a little bit more one it'll save now I'm doing living fry bar [Applause] ah okay nice and slow for the binary more green ran up stop so you can see the tracks really loose all - thank you now I'm gonna try to get start with the front one here right around nice and slow so what I've seen some people do right now put em in between the teeth okay go forward I'm not gonna put up everyone I'm gonna put up every couple that's gonna give me the spacey I need to slide the track up rather than try to break your teeth over the roller stop now you see how the now I should be able to slide it all most welcome where the front roller [Music] [Music] [Music] alright now we got the track off we're not gonna move very far because it's very heavy there 500 pounds of Peters let the piece of him with them for the wide track here's a problem child right here it's bottom roller looks good turn to think it was squealing like a little pig on yesterday's chatter guts that should haven't you should not have any planning see at the bottom here this gap is pretty big so seals busted or bearings or shot or something like that so we're changing one on each side and it's not hold again it's pretty simple really but you know Dewalt does the work yeah just took those out next part is we hope that we got the right all right so now I got my new roller the right one on the bench I always take my new bolts spray some wd-40 down the hole and I really soaked it up fill it up with the IV d40 then I'll throw my bolts in make sure they're not cross thread or anything using a ratchet first to tighten them up and taking them back out and put them on a machine so I'm going so the machine no just get all this grease out of here and get ready to put trick Python that's all the grease that came out of the tensioner that's a lot of grease it's like a whole tube so that's why it's important to get that tensioner back make your life a lot easier getting the track back on [Applause] [Music] [Applause] all right we got the new roller in rear idler they call it mu what boats are in there just hand tight get my impact out and tighten them up I don't know what the actual spec is but I just tighten them as tight as I can get them and then I'll mark them so I know if they loosen up around [Music] [Music] [Music] yes I told you take a fan [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hurry [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] I definitely recommend a power grease gun and I got a devolved Milwaukee or Lincoln for pumping these things back up huh working just advice always they come and they give me free stuff now what he's doing here is greasing the nipple you know what I mean you know oh yeah yeah make sure that doesn't expect from this final footage now he's gonna grace it really good because that's what it needs this is where you don't want to keep a little bit of grease will go a long way they'll watch your eyes sometimes it'll splatter as you can see he's got his glasses on his head he's up losing his had protective glass no good glass eye we always want to keep it [Music] [Music] all right now we're all back together here and all of our covers back on I'll do stuff for proper tensioning I'd reference your owners manual but what I always do is leave about a half an inch in between the roller and the track that's what I've always heard to do what I've always done seems to work pretty good then whatever you fifty hours old you know we're checking to make sure they're still tight so that's that how to change track thanks for watching you
