How to Remove Background in Capcut PC 🖥️: Step-by-Step Guide

welcome back to frame by frame where we make the best tutorials for mastering cap cut PC you're here today because you want to learn how to remove backgrounds in cap cut PC like [Music] this let's go over how to remove backgrounds in cap cut step by step before we start I want to let you know that there are two different ways to remove backgrounds from images or videos in cap cut PC we will go over the pros and cons for both of them if you have an image or video that has a solid background then you would use chroma key let's add our media to the timeline make sure your media is selected make sure you are on the video Tab and then let's click on cut out select the Box chroma key click on the Color Picker and then select your color you would like to remove now now you can see next to Color Picker you have the blue color which we just selected now let's drag the strength till about 15 and the shadow between 30 and 40 now we can see that the blue color from the image is fully removed these numbers are not set in stone always adjust them to fit your project in media now if you want to add another background to this media simply drag it onto the timeline then make sure the new background is placed underneath the cutout and as you can see the background has changed Auto cutout is used if you have a nonsolid background objects in the background or a person wearing a very similar color to the background color let's add our second media to our timeline as we can see the white background and the jacket almost matches make sure your video is selected and that you are on the video tab let's head over to cutout this time we will Select Auto cutout now now you can see here that the AI is working on cutting out the image for you and there you have it fast and easy as you can see even though the auto cut out seems faster you can still see some flows in some places with chroma key we have more control but it only really does its best with a solid background let me quickly show you what will happen if we use Auto cutout on this image as you can see it removes some of the box as well instead of only the color we want so you will have to choose when is the right time to use chroma key or Auto cutout to fit your project perfectly if you enjoyed our cat Cut background removal guide smash the like button and subscribe for more tutorials want to learn more about cat cut then click this video and go learn about key frames let me know in the comments if there's something specific you would like to learn with cap cut PC happy editing
