all right we got one for the ladies today if you want to save your christian louboutin so you're not wearing through that red cell and then they're pretty much toast stay tuned because we're going to show you how you can avoid that [Music] what's up y'all are you watching trend in hate I'm Heath and today we're going to be putting some soul protectors on these Christian Louboutins we get a lot of ladies to bring these in straight out of the box they say you know investing in a good pair of these one of the last because as you can see these Souls are not very thick and it's not going to take you very long to burn through them especially if it's got a pointed toe the point of your the toe the quicker the soul at the toe is going to wear through and then your you're tearing up into your upper and it just doesn't look good and you can never get a really really good repair you can resell them but it's better just to leave those in place and the best way to do it is to put some soul savers on these now the ones that I prefer there's a lot of different brands and different styles out there I like the Casali out of Italy they have a mirror shot and they just blend in better and you can rough these up a lot and it's it's gonna take a lot of beating so this is just the brand that I prefer and we put other ones own shoes that ladies have requested we've you know put some Vibrams on there but we've had a lot of success with these and the ladies just really love these as well so stay tuned because we're gonna put these on these your Louboutins alright y'all so we're dead on my shoe jack here and you can say she's already been wearing into these and there's no more red at the toe she's got plenty of soul left right here at the toe so she brought these in at a perfect time these things just sit literally right here and then we trim them off and what we want to do is obviously one of the things ladies like about these years is they want other people to know they're wearing them that's why I mean you get the signature red right here so when you're walking you don't want this thing to come all the way back up and then you can actually see it from the bottom so we try but if you put it too far up like this then it just doesn't look good either because you could catch it if you peel off so what I like to do is I like to put it right as it starts to break without about here and draw me a line [Music] [Music] [Music] great applause alright here's the part that uh ladies probably don't want to know happens but you gotta do it you actually have to sand through this and a rough it all up and remove the old paint so that you can get down to the bare leather so that the glue can actually soak into the fibers of the leather and adhere to it so we had a lady come in she bought a pair of white ones for her wedding and I told her I said I might have to stay on this down and you know she flinched and cringed a little bit but she knew it had to be done and those things are gonna last her a lot longer now so I'm saying these off and I'll be back okay so we've sanded off the red right here and if you can see from the video I was not pressing very much on these I mean I'm not trying to take the whole Saul down I want to keep the leather so I'm just trying to take that top layer off and the paint's not very thick so I'm just trying to take the paint off and I cheated a little bit I went ahead and put a first coat on these and let those secure these I've actually been curing for me knives several hours and that way I can put my second coat on because once you put glue on these these rubber things they take awhile and I like to do two coats so for the purpose of this video I went ahead and just put some blue on this and I reckon it's gonna ground in here a lot quicker that's gonna drown there so I put my second coat on here in [Music] actually man I'm getting get ahead of myself I like to use my rougher edge in just barely just open up the leather Center grab on I'd have been a little more difficult to do if I took the glue room before I roughed it up and see I'm barely holding this night I'm not trying to Massacre the soul I'm just trying to pay the rent and does not take a lot the shoe is beautiful as is so let's leave it that way [Music] all right go dude now we can put our glove and this is suede you got to be real careful on the edges because you don't want to get glue on the suede you get it on calf skin smooth leathers you can using a piece of rubber crepe rubber to get it out but it's very difficult to treat slave she didn't glue on it [Music] first coat hang it up let it dry before we put our second category [Music] and just a reminder if you hear random machinery and stuff going off then this is a working workshops bells ringing customers coming we'll put the second coat down probably in about ten minutes but that's that first coat soaks into the leather really quick and when I put that one I'm gonna put my second coat over here so stay tuned all right yeah so we've put two coats of glue on both of these things and you remember these things are just held on by cement so you gotta make sure that it's strong enough that you know you're not going to stuff your tone when it's going to come off somehow so turn the back and pull your way over [Music] we'll put these on brass as well but just as of right now say the shame it just looks so much better than some of the others and when we trim this off after we let this it's sitting and cure for a little bit and then we'll we'll cut the excess off and and then finish up the side but yeah these things look good [Music] all right I'm gonna head let those set up and then I'll trim it off and you'll see the final product as soon as I'm done okay so finish them up and I decided to let these sit or not it just depends on went up at the blue home and when I actually stick them but if I stick a bit early in the morning sometimes by the time you know I look before I leave I can trim them and finish them up but I decided but these are around lunchtime so it's best just to let them sit overnight and make sure that glue has really cured and you got a good seal and good bond and then came in this morning trimmed off the excess and with a very very fine Center in a very careful hand saying that it's smooth put some ink around it and the good thing about this is it's almost it cleans up like patent leather so any of the ink you get on the red bottoms you can just use a patent leather cleaner and it comes right off so there you go and you can see it blends in pretty good and in my personal opinion of all the products on the market that you can use as a sole protector for personal Bhutan's these are the best and they hold up incredible with
