How to Open Newer .dwg (AutoCAD) on Older AutoCAD versions 2022.

things on autopad and they want to see how you can access the mdwg files on the lesson and older version file from newer versions like for instance you have 2018 2012 or maybe 2017. i want that since 2004 and 2007 2009 most of the time it's difficult and error messages yeah that tool is very nice and even on 2018 i think it's a tool that was attached to this software you can actually do that on this but that's not the method we are going to use today so we are going to use a different method so let's now see the file we want to work with so this is the growing one to work with and we call it test now this and particular drain now let's see if we can then open it on 2007 because i have 2007 and 2018 on the system yeah let's see what we see how stand out so they're trying to assess it on 2007. let's see what we get and then when we and when we encounter the challenge we want to encounter will now try and access it on 2018 which is actually launched enough to see how well then we now show you how you can bring it down to the version that you can do what you can access so um you can see the message autocad a lot this m dwg file cannot be opened because it was created in the more it so the first thing once is that you come to the top left corner and you click on this icon when you click on this icon you see some other tools that you want so we come to it home to export come to export and we want export to utility going exposed to the 3d joint they click on that when clicking on that notice then pop-up window will just even dialog box rather will come up and then now export to file type also dwg or microstation but we are working on dwg so maybe subsequently we'll still show you how you can move it towards my station so now we want to move it towards we are still moving into autocad on the lower version so that's the export file type then the next thing is what the folder the folder is on the desktop and then we'll call it ss now the destination file name this ace is like a default prefix that is always attached to destination file name pc so you can decide to just add the name of the file after the prefix to indicate that it is same particular file then you come down to this you should click on this plus and you see three outputs yeah files to export we won't export the true layout we're only going to export what's the model we are going to export the model because that's what we are concerned so you just uncheck it you can try to check it but for the purpose of this video we are going to uncheck it and then we are only going to check the model but that's what we want to want to export so we've actually indicated the path first rather it will follow the destination that refinement the next thing we are going to do now is we are going to what we are going to export you just click on the export wait for the progress and then zero of one file exported so by the time the file has been exported we'll get the completion name like a completion message that the file has been what has been exported so as i said earlier you can actually use that and to view or yeah the autocad review that you used [Music] we say okay i'm saying okay we can decide to what we can try to close this and then we'll come back to our folder by coming back there you now see that what it has it has been exported and this is the folder e-cad test is model test now this particular drawing now let's see if we can access it on what on 2007 which is this this is 2007 so this was for the old response so let's see what happens on this new one so we can do what we can now access it on 2007 version so the way you want to move it from 2016 to 2007 or 2010 or as a case may be you saw the process before so i'll keep emphasizing that there are there is another and as i said earlier that trueview is actually a tool that is embedded on this software so we are going to make a video on how to use the trueview on this software without installing it or maybe if you
