How to Make the Best Bacon Candy

hey youtube this is Finn's kid coming at you it's Super Bowl Sunday today I'm making some snacks today's menu bacon candy now the first thing you're gonna need is a high quality bacon a really thick cut bacon high-quality don't cut corners here if you can help it and brown sugar I just have it the bag here cuz we're gonna cover this stuff just simply take your bacon nude and drop them into your bag code a little good [Music] just lay them out of the foil line sheets not necessary it just makes cleanup a bit easier alright we're gonna take this brown sugar coated bacon drop it in the oven at three and a quarter oh yeah look at that name okay guys here we are 15 minutes and we're gonna let that go a little longer let it roll I'm gonna give that another 15 depending on the fitness of your bacon is really gonna dictate how long you're in the oven so just keep an eye on it all right guys here we are after 30 minutes give it a little flip action oh yeah that's coming along see what we're looking for is a crispy candy like bacon you don't want it to be limp or soggy or sticky or anything like that you want to get as well done as you can get without burning it so after giving them all a flip looking at how those are looking I want to go back into the oven for another maybe 10 minutes and those should be rocking and rolling 10 minutes later that's what we're looking at you can see why you like to use the foil lined pan right now we want to get this out of here this is candy right now let's get it out on a cooling rack this looks perfect if you let this sit too long see how limp it is that's just cuz it's so hot get out of here before this cools down there this will harden up on you right here a dish oh yeah now we're gonna let these cool down but make sure they're not touching each other cuz that's gonna get real hard and oh yeah right here before it hardens that's what I'm talking about you really know you nailed it when it doesn't stick to itself it sounds I don't like it were left shatter like candy bars now and that right there you guys there's a handful of that premium candy bacon let's crack one open show we're talking real crunchy ready to go like candy the more is they should bring to a party the better this is fans keep coming at you ever moving guys
