what's up everyone in this video I'm going to show you how to print 3d jewelry models at home with a Telugu Mars 3d resin printer if you guys are planning on starting a jewelry business this absolute must-have you'll save a bunch of time and money printing at home so the first thing you guys will need to do is buy the actual printer you can get it for around 230 dollars on Amazon and you will have to buy the liquid resin separately it costs around 30 dollars the printer is going to come with everything we need such as masks gloves a USB Drive a spatula and pliers so the first thing you guys will do is go to a website called CD trader comm this is what we're gonna download our 3d files so I bought five files the first one is the lion ring the second one is a Miami Cuban link you can make chains of bracelets with this the third file is a Rolex ring the four thousand Miami Cuban ring with no diamonds and the last file is a Miami Cuban ring with diamonds when you guys purchase this you'll be able to download the files right away so we downloaded the file so let's check them out here we have the Rolex ring so with this ring we're gonna cast each part separately if I want this to be a 2-tone ring meaning I want this part to be all white gold and the other parts to me yellow gold you have to cast it separately also the details gonna be much better if each part is cast separately here we have my ring here's the diamond Cuban ring with stones here's the Miami Cuban link and here's the regular Cuban ring with no stones next we're gonna website called vinyl 3d comm you're gonna click on downloads or click trial and download the trial version of the program if you have windows you'll download it here if you have Mac you'll click here you'll simply enter your email address and they're gonna send you the download link rhino3d is useful for small edits and doing resizing all right let's begin guys the first thing you gonna do is put on your mask and your rubber gloves when you guys first get a 3d printer I recommend you guys watch a setup video the first thing you will do is align it to make sure print straight after this you're gonna pour in your resin fill it up to about a third when you guys are done printing any resin that's left over you can pour it back into the bottle or they use it later now we're gonna put the cover back on and now we're gonna get our files ready with the program that comes to the printer you're gonna insert the USB tribe that comes to the printer you'll see a folder called no-name pop up click that click on slicey software select your operating system and then double click on this file right here to install the software when I open up the software it's called Chi toolbox or to take the STL file we're gonna drag it into the software so this software is very easy to use it's very basic you can use these options right here on the left side to rotate and resize your file and if you click right here on the right you can add your support if you click on support settings you can choose if you want a light support medium or heavy and you can do all the adjustments right here you can do it manually by clicking add support you can also click plus all in the soft ball do it automatically for you I recommend you guys add as much support as possible because because you don't want your model to print with defects you can also click settings and over here you can change a bunch of settings such as the layer Heights the layer height is basically the resolution so right now we're printing at point zero five millimeter but it can go down to as much as point zero one if you want really fine detail but the print is gonna take much longer to print we're gonna click slice is gonna get our file ready and they want to click Save save the file is going to read the file gonna click open the folder and we're simply gonna take the file and drag into the USB Drive you could drag it anywhere on the drive now we're going to find the file on the 3d printer and click the print button to start printing he's gonna show us the progress bar and it's also going to show us how long it's gonna take to print the file also it's in the show as the picture of the exactly is printed so it's done printing now remove the cover make sure you guys are winning a messenger gloves or to unscrew the top part we're going to pour some isopropyl alcohol into a cup they want to take the spatula and gently push the mold into the cup we're gonna let the moment sit in the alcohol for about a minute after that you have to put the mold on the UV light or on the Sun for about 30 minutes tomato cure now the mold is ready and we have to remove the sports days before we do take a look at how great the printer print of the model this is not even printed at the finest resolution and still you can see all the details look at how sharp and crisp the teeth are now we're gonna take the pliers that came with the printer and we're going to gently clip all the supports now it's very important to not pull the supports because that can leave holes in the mold you guys don't wanna do that after you're done clipping you take a piece of sandpaper and sand it down for a smooth finish so now we're done clipping take a look at how great the ring came out so now we're gonna put the rest of the models and by the way you guys can put multiple models I want to took about four hours to come the rescue now let's clip everything else next for the clip the Miami diamond Cuban and by the way take a look at how clean and crisp the prongs came out so for the line ring we use light sports but for this ring we use heavier supports because this is a much thicker ring I'm gonna fast forward this will clear guys you guys can see how flawless the finish ring looks look how perfect the promise came out now we're gonna do the plain Cuban ring without the stones you guys are making your first piece of jewelry I recommend making something like this these have any stones just so you guys learn the process the correct way and by the way guys on the next jewelry video I'm gonna take one of these models and take it down to the district and I'm gonna turn into a piece of jewelry let me know which one of these models want me to make let me know in the comment section now will explain what this ring has four parts the reason that has four parts is because I'm gonna cast each part separately so the reason we're doing assembly is because the main part of the ring is only white gold and the other parts are in the yellow gold so in a cast and weld each part separately another reasons because we want to be able to polish all the details and you guys can see approximately how the ring will look when it's finished now we're gonna do the landing Cuban Linx so you guys can easily make chains and graces with these you're gonna simply cast one of these in silver then get a bench jeweler to cut one link open and then make a rubber mold then you would simply give the rubber molds to the caster and let them know how many links you want cast again guys try not to pull the supports because it could leave small tiny holes it's not that big of a deal they can be polished but it's just better if you don't alright I hope you guys enjoyed the video if you did please hit the like button it really helps a channel be sure to subscribe and if you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments and I'll see you guys in the next video you
