create some other pages like how we can create about page how we can create your contact page how it works page so people can go to this howit works page and they can learn the entire process similarly we'll see how to create some other pages as well like membership page we'll see how to create advertising page my account page and so on now if you see over here we also have this currency have to click on this blue button install now button click on this button and the very first thing that you have to do is make sure that under protocol you have https there are two options http and https make sure the s1 is selected as for secure and after that under domain name you have to select whatever domain name you want so in this example i am selecting then you'll microsoft this in for you and you can use this password i have my own strong password so i'll type in over here now after that you'll see your admin email some random email will be typed in over here make sure you delete this thing and type in your own personal email address once you do this thing you can now go ahead at the bottom and click on this install button now wordpress has started installing on your domain name this is a very small process hardly takes around 10 to 12 seconds you can see it is already done now once wordpress is installed on your domain name you'll get two links first link is just your website link if you open this in a new tab this is how your website looks right now second link is your wordpress dashboard link so if you open this in a new tab you will be automatically redirected to your dashboard and this is how your dashboard looks like now this dashboard page is the most important page of your website because you will be controlling your website from this page so whatever you want to do for example if you want to change the style of your website if you want to add some features on your website you're going to create new post new pages manage you know media manage payments everything will be done from this page and whenever you want to land on this page or come on this page you have to type in your website name and after that type in forward slash wp hyphen admin you'll land on this page now whenever we install wordpress on a new domain name there are few basic things that you have to understand and there are few basic settings that we have to do so let's first clear them all so first of all this is your dashboard on your dashboard you'll see there are many widgets available these are not really useful so we can click on this screen option at top and we can untick all these widgets just to make sure that our dashboard is very neat and clean now at the left hand side the second option after dashboard is your post option this option will be helpful to create different blog post so if you see on the demo website also i have a blog page if you go to the blog page you'll see i have created different blog posts so i'll show you later on in this video how to do that thing third option is your media option so whatever images whatever media files i have used on my demo website or on any website you'll see all those media files will be present over here you'll have to manage them from here if you want to add a new media file you have to do that thing from here then the next option is your pages option which obviously will be used to create different pages your members page homepage dashboard page all these pages will be created from here then we have the comments option now under this option you can manage your comments if you want you can approve and approve them reply them if you want to do them or if you're not just delete or mark them spam you can do that thing as well then we have another option which is very important appearance option now under appearance you'll see there are few themes which are already installed and activated for you so three themes are installed and this one 2021 theme is already activated for you now if you go to your website this is how your website is looking and this design this look and appearance of your website is because of this theme 2021 theme now whenever you want to change the style and appearance of your website you just install and activate some other theme for example if you just activate this 2019 theme again come back to this website and refresh it now as you can see your website design is completely changed so this is basically what a theme does a theme changes the style and appearance of your website now you should always have only one theme installed and activated so all these extra themes you can click on them at the bottom right corner you can click on delete and you can delete these extra themes later on in this video we'll be using some other theme not this boring theme now the next option is plugins option again under plugins you'll see few plugins will be automatically installed for you i would recommend you to deactivate them and delete them now plugin is kind of a software or an add-on that will add some extra features and functionalities to your wordpress website so appearance and themes is related to design and plugins are related to features so all the features related to micro job all the message feature you know dashboard feature all the payment feature everything will be added using some plugins so later on in this video we'll add some plugins and those plugins will add all these required features on our website now you have to click on the settings option and under settings if you have not already changed your also change the login font i've already shown you in the previous step uh you know previously in this video i've shown you how you can change the text logo if you want to upload your own logo you can upload that logo from your jpg or jpeg or png image now to do some changes in the footer you can click on header and footer now this is the header that we're using we have seen how to do some changes in the header but maybe if you want to do some more changes in the header this is for home page if you see some other page if i go to fax page the menu and everything is same header will be different so we have seen the header basically now let's see the footer so to do some changes in the footer we'll click on this option let's see we can we can click on this option edit option edit with elementor okay at the bottom for footer this edit button now this is how it will look like if you just click on this option we have to click on footer settings now in the description it says this lorem ipsum maybe i want to change this text and i want to change i want to type in this thing okay maybe this much copy it paste it over here now you'll see that text is now changed now again i'm saying all these links social media links is getting from that company info and your logo you have to change your logo from that logo that i've shown you now under menu title one it says useful link and instead of useful links i'll say popular links maybe okay just to show you that this is how you change and under menu one i'll select footer one that we have just created similarly under menu two i'll type in uh documentation and after that i'll select footer two so you can change it like this and at the bottom we have the copyright text at the rate called copyright 2021 forehand media and at the right hand side we have these icons so if you don't want these icons maybe at the right hand side if you want social media icons you can change the copyright style to text plus social but i want to keep it at text plus cards because that looks much better and click on update so this is how you change your footer if you again go back to this website if you open your website in a new tab if you scroll down now as you can see this is how your footer looks like you can also change the background color and all now let's go at the bottom and okay the changes have not yet made the changes are not done on this website on the homepage that is because if you remember we have created homepage using elementor and we have created our own header and footer but if you go to some other page maybe let's go to fact page here if i go at the bottom here as you can see this text has changed everything is changed the way we have changed it okay so this is working so again you can just do it like this you can change your header you can change your footer for different pages now let's see how we can create different blocks we do have a blog page i guess if i let me see actually let me go to pages if you come back to pages option we do have a blog page if you open this in a new tab okay some blocks are created over here but let me show you how you can create a custom blog now what i would recommend first let me create this thing and after that i'll tell you what i recommend now if i want to create a new blog it is pretty simple i just click on add blog let me grab a demo blog from here maybe let's open this one now this is how a single blog post looks like this is your featured image this is your title this is the date people can share this blog this is the you know category corporate and this is the content now let me copy the title so your title will come over here under add title and after that whatever your you know content is you can copy this content like this and you will be entering your content at the bottom now you have to click on this blog option at the right hand side you have to give it a category so this blog belongs to corporate category as you can see over here so i'll add any okay we already have this category if you don't have a category for example let let me add maybe health category so you'll click on add new category and type in health and click on add new category this category will be added and selected now we have to give it a featured image so click on featured image maybe let me select this image click on set featured image now you can click on publish and this is so easy this is how easy it is to create a new blog post if i open this in a new tab now as you can see this is how it looks like okay this is how it looks okay now what i was talking about we have completed everything but let me give you suggestion now because this website is has imported all the different dummy content the very first thing that i would recommend you to do is you have to go to jobs now from here i would recommend you to delete all these jobs except for the one that you have just created rest all you can just delete them you can tick mark it over here and you can just untick the one that you have created for all the dummy jobs you can bulk action go to move to trash and you can delete it obviously because these are dummy blog posts these are dummy jobs you should be deleting them you should be creating your own live jobs now under jobs you have categories now these are categories that is created if you want to use these categories that is good if you want to create new categories for example i want to create a new category health and fitness so you'll just type in health and fitness over here and after that under slug just leave it as it is some description if you want to type in type in that description and click on add new category this category is added and features if you want to add some features these are the features that are pre-selected pre-added if you want to add some more features uh you can do that okay you can just type in that feature for example if i just type in feature one click on add new category this feature is also added so it is really simple similarly for blogs as well i would recommend you to go to blogs and except for the one that you have just created i would recommend you to delete all the other blocks so move to trash click on apply everything will be deleted again because all these things are dummy blog post and finally one more thing i've already shown you the advertising and all but uh i want also want to tell you one thing if you select this advertising we have enabled sell space that people can if they want to if someone wants to sell their ad they can buy that ad space okay so i've shown you that thing banner is not displayed so suppose this ad someone wants to buy this space they can do it but suppose instead of this thing you instead of selling this space if you want to display google ads on this page so you can do that thing as well so maybe let me see this option top search top i don't want to you know sell this space which is this space search sidebar top this space okay i don't want to sell this space i want to add my own google shortcode google adsense shortcut over here so that google ads will start displaying over here so i can click on add campaign and select that space which is search sidebar top and over here under banner code you have to type in that code google adsense code you have to type in that code in the banner code and after that you can select when this campaign ends and after that just click on save settings that google ad will start displaying at that place so you have this option as well and finally with this we have successfully
