hey Foodies so today I'm going to show you how to make fresh fish sauce popularly known in Ghana as fancy fonte or the fisherman stew so if you are a lover of banku then this video is definitely for you just keep on watching for this recipe all you need is your fresh fish and the fish you can use any type of your choice and I'm using this type and I don't know its name please don't laugh at me and next I have some tomatoes onions pepper garlic and ginger so that's all you need for this recipe and I bet you you'll come back into my comment section and let me know how yours went so firstly we are going to spice our fish with some salts Remy fish seasoning so here I used half of the seasoning and next I'm going to mix it all together [Music] for the salt and the seasoning to be well incorporated into the fish foreign it and allow it to marinate for 20 to 30 minutes whilst I'm waiting for the fish to marinate I'll go ahead and blend all my ingredients so I'll add everything in the blender blend it so it's smooth out your preferred consistency on a medium heat I'll add some palm oil into my pan [Music] and here you can add salted fish which I didn't add next you add your onions give it a stir [Music] and allow it to fry for one to two minutes [Music] then add your Blended ingredients [Music] I rinsed the blender with little water and I added it back into the pan give it a stir once again cover it and let it cook for 5 minutes also you are okay with the consistency I mean when you notice there's no water in your sauce anymore [Music] next I will add my spices here I added some all-purpose seasoning oregano [Music] besio and Rey Mysterio seasoning I didn't add everything I added just a little and I'll stir it once again make sure you give it a good stir [Music] once the spices are well mixed next I'll add my already seasoned fish so here I didn't add any salt because of my spices and the salt I added in the fish when I was about to marinate it but after everything just taste it and see whether you're okay with the salt or not [Music] so I'm adding everything and after I'll cover it and let it simmer for three to five minutes and then I'll come back to 10 over the fish because I want it to be well cooked [Music] I'll cover it again and leave it for three to five minutes please make sure your fish is well cooked before putting off your fire so I'll turn it once more cover it again and allow it to simmer for three minutes and here my sauce is almost ready [Music] I'll give it a good stir once again [Music] and next I'll garnish it with some papuchito or green pepper or Peppers belly pepper and add some onions and if you know you don't like peppery okay you can use it for garnishing it's cool and it also gives an extra Aroma to the sauce give it a stir once again [Music] and here our fresh fish sauce stew is ready yes our fancy panty is ready so all you need to get now is your banku rice or plantain or anything you wish to add with and here I added my ETO this is ETO Banco without cassava dough as you can see I'm already enjoying my EXO with my fancy fancy so guys try yours and let me know how yours went in the comment section before I leave your mind was very very yummy and tasty [Music] please subscribe to my channel like this video and share this video as well and please don't forget to turn on your notification Bell to get you notified anytime I drop a new video until then bye bye and thanks so so much for watching this video
