want to know how to make crispy fried potato wedges keep on watching hi everyone welcome and welcome back to my Channel today we're making crispy fried potato wedges so crispy so flavorful before I begin if you're new to my Channel Please Subscribe like this video if you enjoy and let's jump right into the recipe [Music] okay guys before you start cutting your potatoes be sure to scrub them very well with soap and water and then pack them dry now I am going to cut them right in the middle and slice them into wedges just like I'm doing right here [Music] baby [Music] [Music] once I'm done cutting all of the potatoes I am going to place them to a ice bath okay I have a bowl full of water I added some ice cubes in there then I am going to place the potatoes in there I'm going to leave the potatoes in there for about 15 to 20 minutes then I am going to drain that water out and then I am going to lay the potatoes into a napkin oh but I don't wanna jinx it baby [Music] next I'm going to place another napkin on top of the potatoes just to remove any extra moisture you don't want any water on the potatoes no water at all and no moisture okay [Music] oh [Music] maybe you once I'm done I am going to grab my oil and drizzle some olive oil on there just to help the seasoning stick on the potatoes and then I'm going to rub it in with my fingers and then I am going to grab the seasoning the seasoning I'm using to season the potatoes are onion powder garlic powder a little bit of paprika as well as some ground black pepper and some seasoned salt okay a teaspoon each next I am going to sprinkle the seasoning all over the potatoes me [Music] [Applause] [Music] now this is the key to get yourself a nice crispy potatoes now this is the key if you want your potatoes to be nice and crispy I am going to sprinkle some corn starch on there make sure the corn starch or the potato is well coated with the corn starch and then we are going to fry these bad boys [Music] I have my oil heating up already on 350 degrees I am going to carefully place the potato wedges in there I'm going to cook the potato wedges for about four minutes all together okay so four minutes per side I will say just let them fry make sure to gradually stir them as you don't want to burn them so keep flipping them here and there carefully [Music] butter once the time is up I am going to remove the potato wedges and place them to a cooling rack or you can place them to a napkin just to soak all of that oil and then I am ready to eat these I am going to cook another batch and show you guys the results once we're done [Music] don't wanna overthink it baby these potato wedges were so satisfying to eat it was crunchy and crispy from the outside and the inside was Fluffy it was perfectly seasoned if you wanted a little bit spicy you can add some cayenne pepper hopefully you guys try it for your family and come back and let me know how you like it don't forget to give this video a thumbs up for me if you enjoy it if it was helpful also if you have not done so already please subscribe and I will see you guys on the next recipe bye guys
