How to make Color Acrylic

[Music] hey guys it's me Nicole welcome back to my channel I wanted to go and come on here and show you guys some colour acrylics that I made if you have not seen my live video on how I do these nails make sure that you go and see this I absolutely love these nails they are so freakin cute and it is a live video you guys so it is like really long but you can always just kind of skip wet halfway through the video that way you can kind of see how I did the designs and the ending part of the video okay I know you're not gonna sit down watch the whole four hours because it's four hours long like I said it was alive and it does take me a long time to do my nails but let's jump into this video I wanted to show you guys the difference between chalk using chalk as acrylic she's this chalk right here you can use this chalk to make color curly it's also some different chocolate I'm gonna use and test out but this one to me you can use it you can get away with it but it's still kind of like chalky you would really have to make it really fine I guess get like one of those little cup and hand grinders to really grind it down and I didn't do that I just kind of scraped it with a scissors and just gently scraped over the piece of chalk and made it real fine but I made I can open it this purple try to get closer now with chalk because you know how chunk is and when it gets wet it darken some so it won't be this light when you put the monomer on it it will go darker so I made that and I also made a blue but I made this with eye shadow so that's the blue and I'm gonna show you guys what both of these look like I actually like doing it with eye shadow better than chalk and this is when there's like a charcoal gray color that I made I'm gonna show you guys that one as well so I'm also gonna wanna I'm also gonna do one on camera this is some blush by LA colors I got this from Family Dollar and I'm gonna try and make acrylic powder color it with this one as well so I'm gonna do this so you guys can see actually how I do it so I have these little nails I do not have my nails on a stick or anything like that just because I haven't gotten anything okay so we're gonna start with the purple since it's the lightest color and I'm not gonna put this on with my normal alpha kolinsky brush I'm gonna use this kolinsky brush I got from Michaels this is basically like my practice brush so I use this when I'm practicing stuff so let me show you guys what the purple looks like so I'm gonna try not to get this on my nails so that's what it looks like and it is kind of close to what the color is it's just slightly darker but I'll show you guys what I mean about how you can see the little chunks in the inside of the acrylic you so that is that color so I'm gonna try to come up a little closer and show you guys what it looks like up close hopefully my camera focuses there it is okay so that is the light purple now the blue looks way better than the purple you won't see any chalky spots or anything like that because this is the I show you look how pretty it is I like that I love this blue that is so pretty let's see if I can go down a little bit more without getting it on my nails you you and the blue has like a little bit of a shiny type color to it so that's the blue okay so let me show you stick that down and show you what the charcoal looks like you look at that color oh my god that is so cute young you so that is the gray charcoal gray that is to you okay so I'm gonna let these dry and I'm gonna come back and buy those and put a clear coat of acrylic on there and show you what they look like once they have been buffed okay this was the gray okay so I have this blush from Family Dollar Baby on a little brush in there but what we are going to do I'm gonna get something and I'm gonna break this up and I got to but I think I only use one yeah I probably didn't even need to but this was such a pretty color so so I got these containers right here from Target I think they were like they were under a dollar fifty nine cents or something like that so I'm just gonna pull this try to pour this in yeah you and unlike for my stuff to be really pigmented you don't have to use as much as I use you can make it to your liking okay so we have that in there and what I'm just going to do is just further crunch it up so what you want to do is it you want to add clear acrylic to this but I also add white with mine just because I don't want it to be as transparent so I also use mill secret so I have my new secret right here I'm just gonna force some of this in here I never measure how much you guys I just do it to my liking like I said I'm also going to add some light that way is not so sure and see-through some mix this up and you want to mix it really really well and I'm about to add some more clear because I can already see the consistency of it so I'm gonna add some more clear and if you guys hear like noise in the background there's I'm a bad daycare and there's kids outside playing and it's really loud don't know if you guys can't hear it or not so you just want to make sure that you mix this really well also before you put this on your nails you want to put a clear coat on your natural nail first just like a thin layer of clear acrylic before you put this on there so you want to make sure that you don't stain your natural nail and I always put a clear coat over Crilley over these okay so let's test this out see what is looking like we can always go back and add more if need be so listing you whoa oh my god it's so cute oh I love it it's so freakin pretty here it's so pretty I absolutely love this show oh oh I got a whole nother way you you guys that is so pretty you okay look at this color focus oh I am in love I'm so in love oh my god it's so pretty you see if we can get a closer look so that is that color I absolutely love this and I dropped like a little beer make sure I get that out okay oh this is so cute I love it and again I use this right here and this is the LA color red robe retro blush and it's in the color CBL 7-3 for the banks so that is the color so that is so cute so I'm gonna put a clear coat on this and I will show you guys how they turned out okay you guys so this is how the colorless so I try to show you guys each color the one that's the purple it's the one I made with the chalk with this chalk right here the blue I may wear eye shadow all the rest of these I made with eye shadow so if I had to choose between chalk and eyeshadow I would choose eyeshadow because eyeshadow give you a much more smoother cleaner type of color without any chunks or anything in it I guess it was just depends on what kind of eye shadow you got but this these two eyeshadows are different bringing then this one I just bought and both of them really smooth no chunks or anything like that so I would choose a shuttle over chalk and also when you're putting these all in I also suggest that you put a clear coat on top of these because this is not for strength this is only for cult for color so you wouldn't need a clear coat on these to make your apex and make sure that your nail is strong so you will still need a clear coat over these you guys this is not for strength this is just for color so that is my review of these I will give you guys a close-up listing so that's the purple and it turned out like that then you have the blue which is super cute turned out like that and you have the charcoal gray and it turned out very pretty and then you have the pink blush and
