HOW TO MAKE AN AMAZING LOADED SEAFOOD BAKED POTATO

[Music] [Music] hey y'all welcome back to another episode of what's for dinner here in chanel's kitchen and today i'm going to show y'all how i made this delicious looking loaded seafood baked potato let's just y'all never seen this before so let's just hop right in all right y'all so first things first i have four potatoes and i'm just going to carefully kind of stab some holes into them with my fork all over not that many because we're going to cover them with foil so you don't need that many you just want enough to where the skin doesn't puff up when they're done baking all the sides be careful when you are doing this if you are a child watching this video please have adult supervision because this can get dangerous so now i'm just going to lightly drizzle my baked potato or they not baked yet my potatoes with some olive oil probably about a teaspoon of olive oil for each potato and i'm just gonna give this a nice rub to make sure that the potato is coated in the oil my cup run it over the potatoes want they cook to run it over okay so you got to make sure they are nice and lubricated on the outside that way the skin doesn't get dry while they're baking so now i'm just going to season the outside of the potatoes with some salt generously just some kosher salt you want to make sure they're all nice and evenly coated with salt all the sides honey all the sides my cup runneth woven so now i'm just going to wrap each potato individually in some foil there we go and these are going to go into the oven on 400 degrees for about 45 minutes to an hour all right so i have preheated my skillet and now i'm just going to add in a few slices of bacon let's do four pieces just cook your bacon according to how you usually cook it i actually usually put it in the oven but i want my potatoes to cook fast so [Music] i'm just doing my bacon on the felt this time and i'm also going to reserve this grease for when i'm ready to cook down my vegetables these little pieces of bacon look like little sperms or little tadpoles so you want to be sure to reserve all of your bacon grease i'm just gonna use all the baking grease that i had left over from those four pieces and i'm gonna use this to saute my peppers and onions so go ahead and add in your red pepper and your green pepper and i also have some parsley in there and then your onion now i'm just mixing everything together making sure everything is nice and coated in that good old bacon grease and i'm going to saute this down for a few minutes until everything is nice and soft and our onions start to get a little bit brown and as you guys can see our bell peppers and onions and that parsley is nice and rich in color and now i'm just going to add in about two teaspoons of garlic and i'm going to allow this to cook for about a minute until that garlic is nice and fragrant and delicious and now i'm just going to go ahead and add in my crawfish i had a little leftover bell peppers in there too so i just am giving this a good mix through so that it can so that the crawfish can warm through before i add the rest of my ingredients you don't want to do this too far in advance because your crawfish will get a little bit soggy and nobody wants soggy crawfish so yes take heed and now i'm just going in with half a block of cream cheese and i'm going to give this a nice mash so that it kind of starts to melt into the rest of our ingredients that we have here and i'm just going to allow this to cook just until that cream cheese is all softened and nice and creamy now i'm just adding in some chicken broth i started with half a cup and you might need to add more after you add the rest of your cheeses but for now we're going to start off with half a cup and gradually build if need be so you just want to continue to stir this until the cream cheese and chicken broth have evenly milled it into one another and now we can add the rest of our cheeses i'm starting off with some sharp cheddar about half a cup also taking a colby jack and monterey jack blend adding half a cup of that as well and i'm just going to give all that cheese a good mix until everything is nice and melted together look at this it just looks so good and cheesy and delicious already it looks like it's just it's ready to eat like this just dip a little chip in there child are you ready to go but no we got a little bit more work to do so i just added in a little bit more chicken broth because in actuality this is really just a cheese fondue that's going on a baked potato so you want it to be slightly runny you don't want it to be this consistency that you see on the screen right now so you want that cheese and that chicken broth and that cream cheese to really melt into one another so that everything is nice and super creamy and super spreadable all right you guys so i decided to add in two tablespoons of butter and i think that this will bring this to the desired consistency that i'm looking for now i'm seasoning our little fondue and i'm going in with half a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of black pepper i also added in just a little bit of garlic powder for the culture i gotta have some garlic powder no matter what i also added just a dash of onion powder for the ancestors hallelujah and added just a teaspoon of cayenne pepper for that nice creole spice and i'm just mixing all those good spices into my fondue and this is the final product all right you guys i'm ready to assemble my beautiful baked potato oh hot all right y'all so i have my baked potato here i'm just gonna make a little slit in it they're nice and fluffy and super soft and super golden try to fluff it a little bit carefully it's very hot y'all trying not to hurt myself look how fluffy that is i love this method of cooking baked potatoes they just get so soft and fluffy all right now i'm going to add my fondue on top just gonna ladle that right over my baked potato i like how it's falling off on that side so i'm gonna do that on this side too all right so now i'm just gonna add my baking bits on top that bacon we cooked earlier crushed it up also gonna add some chives right on top give us a nice amount of green and that is our beautiful loaded seafood baked potato let's get a close-up all right y'all so what song comes to mind when you see this for me it's empty me empty me yeah phil won't
