How To Make an AMAZING FNAF Game on Scratch! 2021

you what's going on guys welcome back to another video and i'm in today's video i'm going to be teaching you guys how you guys can make your very own financial freddies game on scratch this is the most advanced tutorial so you guys do not know anything uh do not actually worry because i'm going to be teaching you guys some of the codes along the way so yeah keep in mind this is um like i said going to be very advanced very detailed and stuff like that all right so yeah if you guys have not already make sure to hit that subscribe button i really appreciate it um this is gonna be into a series so this is right now part one it's gonna put off like it's gonna be a total of like five parts all right i'm probably going to add a playlist so let's waste in no time and let's get straight into it so of course you want to click on new project right here all right there you go your screen should look like this perfect now the thing you want to do is you want to click on where it says black uh backdrops all right now you want to make this all black now the reason why you want to make it black so it's easier to see because we're going to be adding a warning sign and stuff like that all right so uh yeah first let's uh take this cat because you know we don't really need it there we go all right now the first thing we're gonna do is just add our warning text so i'm just gonna add warning text you guys can put like flashlights or whatever i'm just gonna go simple and just put warning text right here um and pretty much make this white if you guys want to see if you guys actually want to see the text we could do is add a little box like this make this black and you could just make it go to the back layer and then there you go you can see what you're writing all right now what i do is that i uh i just name my sprites it's really important when you guys do name your sprites um just to keep things organized and you know what um what you're basically doing all right so are we here in the code now we want to add we want to make i'm going to make it so it fades all right so it fades in and then it fades out alright so first i'm going to do is go to my events so when this little flag is clicked i want it to show all right but i'm going to be setting the ghost all right i'm going to a little too fast i'm sorry i can just go back but it's going to say set color for you guys but you can click on this little drop down arrow and click on ghost now i want to make it on 100 now the reason why i want to make it on 100 so it does not show now the reason why i don't want it to show because i'm gonna be adding the uh fade in uh feature so yeah so you wanna make the little fade fading feature you want to go into control click on uh that you repeat want to repeat 100 times right so go into looks after that and instead of getting set go to change all right so change ghost by let's do [Music] negative two so just remember i want to make it on negative two so it fades out all right because we're making it into a ghost meaning we want it to be completely transparent but we do not want that so we're gonna add it in here so um in this little script thingy what's going to happen is that the ghost since this is on to the effect is 100 it's going to be completely transparent but we're making it so that it by negative two percent it starts showing back but as you can see we're gonna be repeating we're gonna be repeating it 100 times so we're gonna go into motions and we want to make it so it's in the middle the exact middle so i'm just gonna add this little go to x and y thingy and you could mess around just go to front layer and stuff like that and there you go so what's gonna happen is we set the transparency is going to be set to 100 it's going to go into the exact middle into the front layer and it's going to fade out so you click on this little flag as you can see it starts to fade in perfect now let's say we want it to fade out what you're going to have to do is go into control and you want to click you want to click on where it says wait now we could wait let's wait at least three seconds three seconds is the sweet spot and there you go so after it fades in we want to wait three seconds and after three seconds pass we want it to fade out now you're just making the same the same code but instead you're just adding a two instead because we actually want it to fade out and there you go now if you guys want to you can add a hide but you don't necessarily have to since it you know it's going fully transparent it's still hiding but i just do it just for the sake of it now if you click on this little flag what's gonna happen is the warning text is gonna show up it's gonna wait three seconds and it should just fade out just like that now as you can see when you click on the flag just instantly shows if you guys don't want that um again you just click on the little weight and you could just wait like zero point four hundred seconds so there you go i'm going to add it like one second so when you click on that flag there you go it waits one second until this code happens perfect make sure you click on make sure you save because you're going to be doing that a lot you know be having to save your um your stuff a bunch of times so make sure you do not forget to click on save all right now the next thing we want to do is we want to add our animatronic now we want animatronics so it can show like right here and we can have everything all set so let's make our animatronic you guys might want to skip if you guys already know how to make in uh like you already know my animatronic you're going to be making you can just skip forward into the video but for years they're interested how i make my animatronics you can just um stay and just watch how i do it so i just add a circle i'm going to make um i'm making this color right here um i'm at the outline to four perfect i think can be a little bit bigger than that just like that perfect all right now what i do is i just take this little top piece out the reason why i do this is because i'm going to be adding a rectangle right here just looks a lot more neat just like that perfect then this this is how i basically do it on almost all my anatomics it's pretty easy it's not really that hard to do really unlike the other advanced um animatronics you see when you play on scratch there you go all right perfect add his eyes a little bit clip together just like that all right nice a little endoskeleton thingy right here copy and paste all right perfect we now have the face we just need to add some teeth and some ears um i am going to be adding the body because why not actually add actually at the body in arms um the reason why i actually do that is because whenever like um you're on camps you want to add your animatronic that it shows on camps um you can just copy and paste the the actual spray and just paste it into the cans it saves a bunch of times and you know it's just way easier and it's just yes it's pretty much way easier so when you're making this you have to make it look the exact same which is a little bit hard to do so i just copy it really there we go let's add his eyes make a little bit small like that there you go all right perfect um i could just add a nose just like this just a little nose all right nice um let's give him some ears just try try and be as creative as possible on your animatronic just make it as unique as you can there you go all right perfect now we want to do is that you just want to highlight this whole entire thing you want to click on group it's just a lot easier so you can just click and just drag there you go all right i'm just gonna add a a body just like this oh for some reason there's no outline that's a little bit weird all right perfect um actually i'm gonna ungroup this just so i can grab this this is just gonna be for the arm there we go all right perfect all right nice you guys are enjoying the um video make sure to drop a like i really appreciate it actually i know if you guys ever need a part two i would just uh i'll just make a part two and like in a week if this that's only if this video gets like 20 likes all right perfect all right so we got our animatronic i'm going to make them big just like that all right there you go let me just group this perfect now for some reason he's not in the exact place i wanted to be so let me just there you go now he's in the exact place um his eye over here is uh looks super weird for some reason that's a little bit weird his eye is that looks is oh my goodness right nevermind that looks a little bit weird but um all right so the first thing you want to do um just grab this flag just hide it we wanted to hide because the warning sight is going to be showing and we don't want him showing at the same time i should probably put him something he's not grouped should put him a little bit more to there you go you don't want to do that because you're gonna be adding your the name and the play button so make sure make sure he's actually in the correct spot that you want him to be hide go to x zero and x y alright now what we want to do is that we want to click on this little warning sign and we just want to add a broadcast and we're just going to name it warning okay there you go when i receive warning so for you guys are not familiar with the broadcast so what's gonna happen is after um this code after it hides it's gonna sign a broadcast and it's basically like a a link or a signal so it's gonna this the broadcast is gonna be saying to the sprite saying hey i want to do and just add whatever script you want so what i want this thing to after this is done what i want this to do is i first want it to show and let's click on save and let's press on this little flag actually i want i want to have a wait a wait time of one second there you go it fades out and then there you go perfect um we let's actually make this a little bit more alive so we're gonna go back into the sprite and there's two things called costumes you can pretty much change the costume of it let's add about four different costumes now you can do these costumes is change the position of your animatronics so i'm going to go and costume two and for some reason oh and let me bring the body a little bit more down all right okay just like this and then just move ahead let me make this black i'm gonna make his ice black because he's gonna be twitching as you can see there you go it's a little bit weird for some reason all right there you go in this position i'm gonna make his both of his eyes black but this thing right here i'm gonna make it red a little blood red color that's a little bit too big i want it to be as menacing smaller it is the creepier it looks really very perfect i'm going to copy and paste this nice now we have our four costumes it should go back to this all right now we're gonna add the little twitching effects so it looks more alive and more just making it look more creepier really so we want to get our warning again oops that's a little bit weird or warning but this time we're gonna add a forever script so it goes on forever and what we want to do is you want to add or switch to costume one no we want to add it right here because if you put in forever it's just gonna forever keep it like this so you wanna this is the first thing you want it to do is go into costume one and forever um let's wait let's go into our operators and our operators we can just pick a random number from one to one two three and we wanted to switch from costume to actually let's just mess it up let's just costume two what i like to do is just i just mess around with the costumes i don't actually put them in order costume four classroom two oh no these you can make these uh let's just add them on zero like this right we press this code and i think i'm missing something oh no yeah i am at the end there was costume one so we do this i think this is what you're supposed to do and yeah yep there you go it's working so yeah you want to make sure so that the last costume is costume one so it just goes back into its little form just like that there you go all right clean up these blocks let's click on play again and we're going to see how our game looks i don't really know what to name them there you go let's pick from number one through five i think i think now there's i think it's a little bit more realistic just like that from three to five there you go you want we don't want it to want it to look creepy alive but not alive it's like staring into your soul really there you go um come herald i don't know dude here old hatting dude okay so we now have our animatronic now what we can do is add a text so um i swear you come up these are like the worst names i mean whatever sake of the video um just make sure you're using a normal text don't be that dude that literally uses to sing in marker handwriting text just use the normal one please it just looks far better okay now what you can do is that you can just copy the script and just put it to here or it can just not work that works too need to double click on it i think right there we go clean it up okay let's click on save let's go and play again let's see how our sign looks that's literally what you gotta do all right there we go it's looking good so far let's make this a little bit more right there perfect actually a little bit more upwards that looks perfect yay nice okay um now the next thing you guys want to do is just add a static just so it looks a little bit more creepier so fnaf static go into images let's just let's grab this one is this even a gif is that let's just grab this one there you go um instead of adding a sprite you're just gonna upload a sprite just like that there you go okay for some reason this is not in the center um you don't really have to mess with anything here all you got to do is just when this price clicked just hide it and when you receive the little warning the broadcast you you go into the center you go into you want to go into the front layer and you want to have you want to set the size to 150 because you can see it doesn't really fit the screen so 150 and um we wanted to animate as you can see since it has different costumes we want it to basically just animate itself so we're going to add a forever script and we're going to add a foreign code and then we're going to click on next costume there you go now when you click on play again save our boring text shows up and everything should be um going to plan as we can see and it did not show um why did i not show oh no i forgot to add a show right here there you go all right yeah make sure you guys do have a show or it's gonna mess you up just like that all right okay so our static is covering the whole screen so we're we're just gonna where is it we're gonna set the goes to like 75 percent there you go perfect what about 50 50 seems like a lot yeah it is a lot 65 is the sweet spot yep it is perfect let's save our project let's click on the little play button again all right let's wait till this fades out there we go took a while that's because we need to have to need to wait one second there you go mistakes like this is gonna happen a lot so do not worry if there's gonna there's things that are not working it's gonna happen a lot all right there you go now everything is working which had a little twitch there you go awesome now the next thing we want to add a play button and a continue button so what we're going to do is make a sprite again press play um actually you just call it new game also new name no new game there we go there we go perfect um i don't know where this is centered so i'm just gonna go into my motion again zero zero there we go all right now i can actually center it uh right here is good i'm gonna add two costumes the second costume is gonna be like the little arrow that shows up this little arrow right here but i don't want it to be in the front i want it to be in the back there you go nice play button okay so just do the same exact thing hide it this is gonna happen a lot where you just gotta repeat the same code gotta hide it gotta show the let's say you know that it should receive this and that it's gonna happen a lot um since our static is already in the front layer what i do is i just make it so it's forever in the in the front layer just like that reason why i do that because if it's if the static layer is in front of the new game then you're not gonna be able to click on it you're just gonna click on the static so i'm just gonna leave it as that let's see what what else can we do oh yeah let's add our warning again but this time that's out of show i've got a show um so now i want to make it so that when you hover over it this little arrow shows up so what we're going to do is we're going to click on forever when i receive warning forever where is it oh she'll be right here all right so when i receive warning forever if when i go to our sensing because like that i receive a warning if touching mouse pointer then uh switch to costume two it's kinda it's kind of like roblox the f the f then statement it kinda reminds me of that clean the blocks all right let's try it out it should work um actually i think i did a mistake no no i did i did two mistakes so my first mistake was i was supposed to wait one second i keep forgetting to add one second there you go add one second and the second thing is that i forgot to make it so when you start the game the first thing the first costume should show is the of course the first costume all right there we go let's just click on this again this is why you always test your game because stuff stuff like this will happen a lot there you go now when we hover over our new game um the little arrow shows now she's glitching a little bit because i'm hovering over the actual text but what you could do is you could add like a box around the new game so it's easier to click but i don't know i'm not going to be doing that alright there you go now we want to do the same thing but add a continue continue and continue wait i think i spilled continue all right there you go [Music] and then what we're gonna do is um actually to see yeah all right i move if i move this then it's just gonna look weird um yeah i can't really move the the costumes because i move costume one and put right here and then whenever over it it's gonna cost you when it's gonna show out here but cost two is gonna be like all the way up here so what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna get a forever a forever script and i'm just gonna see i can go down there you go so by i think fifty percent is good okay there you go fifty percent there you go negative 50. continue click on save click on the flag now what should happen is it should this all happens correctly or your warning should show up it should just fade out and everything should show right here in the front page you can see your new game you can see your continue perfect now we're still not done yet where's our main menu um i'm going to be doing the newspaper and everything um on on part two but um for part one we're just gonna customize our our main menu as much as we can so we're going to do is we're going to add a another sprite now for this sprite we're just going to add a little black line like this little black box let's add let's make it so it's in the exact middle it's like this make sure you guys are doing the same exact thing as i am there you go we're gonna get a little paint bucket and we're gonna add we're gonna click on this little thing right here let's rotate it make this transparent click on that there you go this makes her getting a little bit uh makes your game look a little bit better and for some reason you can see you can still see the little fade thingy little fade sprite so we're gonna fix that by going to looks and we're gonna go back one layer yep we're gonna go back one layer there you go nice yeah looks perfect um i'm just going to copy and paste this and i'm just going to rotate this vertically and there you go uh this makes your game a little bit a little bit more spooky as you can see nice very very nice all right this looks uh this looks perfect so when we go into our main page let's zoom in and there you go this this looks a million times better i like the little fade thingy and makes him look more creepy nice but if you want to if you wanted to you want the fade to come out a lot more you could just do the exact same thing here um you could just add a fade same to the left just like this that's if you want you really want it to show up more and you can basically just copy and paste paste and paste and it should just show just like that all right so this is the end for part one um your game should look fantastic your main menu should look really really good now first you have your warning text you could add um you could use a little fade technique on the warning sign too if you guys want to but there you go so let me replay this again so let's so if you've done this correctly which should happen your warning text should fit in and then it should just fade out just like that you should wait one second and everything should show and you should have basically everything nice have your character twitching you got your text and then you have your play games just like that perfect if you guys enjoyed this video do not click off yet
