okay so we're gonna make a garbage bin so shift a get a cube you're going to want to scale that into a rectangular kind of shape like that a little bit solar tab to get into edit mode face select set the space on here you just press s bring that in a small amount like that so it's quite subtle you don't want to go you don't want to go too extreme okay so go to Edge select press Ctrl r use your middle Mouse wheel to get two Loop Cuts left click right click so you want to get your scale tool scale this out to the edges like that don't have a to d select that Ctrl r ather hover over this Edge move your mouse using the middle Mouse wheel gonna add another loop left click right click I'm gonna use the scale tool to just push that to the edges so you want to create this kind of square pattern okay so face select so at the bottom of the mesh left click hold shift and select these four faces here is extrude that down okay like that then you're supposed to ask to scale it in a bit they kind of match the uh Edge okay so in edit mode so in edit mode set this top face upper so I'm going to press s to uh scale this up a bit maybe like that gonna get the scale tool and just push it out a little bit so I'm going to press e I shoot that downwards and I'm going to press s to scale that inwards a bit no it's up to you how deep you want to go with it but it tries to make sure it doesn't go outside of the bottom if you want you can go to wireframe mode up here and you'll be able to see the face and how far down it is okay so we want to do control R hover over this edge here we want to bring that up to the top like that face select hold alt and left click this edge here so that was like the whole edge around it then press e right click go to the scale tool I'm going to scale it on this diagonal one here scale out a bit and decides to make it the same thickness you know you just need a little bit it doesn't have to be too crazy okay so go to Edge select hold alt click this top ring and then from here we want to hold shift and ALT just like this line shift Alt so we want to select all the edges so hold shift and left click these to deselect them and then hold shift down here and select these edges so hold shift and select these as well so you want the main edges of the geometry okay so then you want to press Ctrl B to add a bevel and if you move your mouse out a bit you'll see the bevel see once went like that and if you move your middle Mouse wheel upwards one it will add another leap cut inside of the bevel to make it extra smooth then left click to confirm it okay so shift a get another Cube you want to scale that down a bit tap into edit mode delete on the number pad we'll Zoom your camera into the object so go to Edge select set this back edge here and just move that down like that go back into object mode let's scale that down a bit it's a bit big so if you press one or three on the number pad it will snap to side views so I'm going to pass free on the number part so I'm going to left click this shift and D to duplicate right click and we'll duplicate move it over here hold shifts like these three shift and D to duplicate again move it to the back rotate hold Ctrl we take 108 degrees let go left click so because this side's smaller we probably only need two of them just like these two shift d root it tool hold Ctrl 90 degrees like that so it's the middle then Shifty again to the other side rotate tool hold Ctrl we'll set that around and then just move that into place okay if we press shift and C it will resent our cursor so shift a again of Q bring that up to here so you want to scale it down a bit like that move that down so this is going to be the lid so this is going to sit on top press tab here and edit mode deselect select the space hold shift select this space now if we scale that it'll push them apart so we want that pretty close to the edge I'm going to scale this on more okay like that so we're going to press tab to get to edit mode set this top face press I and move your mouse in a bit so we want to press e and scale the upwards yeah kind of like that so I'm going to press s and scale it down just a small amount just so it's a bit slanted on the sides then at Ctrl r a bit of mouse wheel upwards left click right click so it's like this face hold shifts like this face and then press e and I'm going to move that up and across I'm gonna move that back a little bit I'm going to move that down a little bit like that okay so in object mode I'm just going to pull this up a bit Ctrl a apply scale it can help with um doing better bevels tab into edit mode hold alt left click hold shift and we just want to select around the edge and this this bottom one here so you want to get the main edges of the object and then Ctrl B move your mouse out a bit yeah so that's looking all right in object mode click on your lid right click shade Auto smooth left click right click shave up a smooth shade Auto smooth so we hold shift and right click to get our 3D cursor over here shift a get a cube of the cursor s scale that down delete under number pad to zoom in type into edit mode face select set the space bring it out a bit Ctrl R left click leave that off a bit select that face either extrude made that pretty long and then you want to extrude out that's on the sides of this bit and it's like this inside face and extrude inwards and I'm going to rotate that off a bit I'm going to scale it down as well and just move it into the middle bit of this area go back into edit mode select these two faces by left clicking that shift left clicking the other one press delete delete faces no one's going to see these go to Edge select shift and ALT select these edges going around select this outer edge and these two inner ones and then Ctrl V again keep the one extra Edge to make it smooth left click dumpster Pages like that Tab out so in object mode left click right click just shade smooth I will use shift d right click and just move that over to the middle of the other side uh shift and see to get your cursor back in the middle shift a guess a cylinder so you want to scale that down delete on the number pad to zoom in and then scale that down see how this can kind of disk shape so you want to move this to one of the corners down here make that a bit skinnier let's get it down a little bit more that's going to sit in there just like that type into edit mode set this up bit delete faces tab back out right click shade oh let's move so shift right click get your 3D cursor in shift a cube scale that down flat out a bit I'm going to scale it on the X and Y so press tab again to edit mode Ctrl R middle Mouse upwards to get another loop cut left click right click scale tool to scale this to the side face select hold shifts like that press e and you want to slide that down a bit okay so then go to Edge select set this Edge hold shift select this Edge and you want to tuck that in like that shift right click down here shift a cylinder so you want to get into the middle of this metal bit this um you want to get into another Cube get the wheelchair tool hold Ctrl we take that 90 degrees scale it so it fits inside okay I'm going to select this up here and scale that in a bit like that no scale this inside as well I mean that's all right tap into this face select select the space select this face press e right click get the scale tool scale that out a bit and then press s bring it in so it light rounds out the wheel right click shade smooth hold shift and then left click on the leaves so shift d bring that over here hold shift select these free again shift d right click drag that over okay so if we left click on this shift left click this shift left click that right click join them together and then if we tab into edit mode press a to select everything and then move over to where this little yellow Dot or orange dot is at the back tab out and slide that back into position if you use the rotate tool now the orange dot is the pivot point so if you rotate it the bin will rotate open yeah like the lid will always open I'll select the skin in the shade oh let's move I'll keep the inside uh Sharp so they go a quick garbage bin I hope you found this video helpful like subscribe if you did thanks for watching
