I forgot about you you little skip away away away [Music] we're doing this part three of the year no well drum barbeque whatever so yesterday we did the the handle and we did the first burn and we spoke about the frame and today I want to talk about what we do the thing now that it's done its first burn so let me take you over this is what the mayors of what we put in there yesterday I didn't come back at in Tudor I just left it left it cooking all night and died down now so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna scoop all this out get rid of the ash in another big metal bin and then we can brush it down with a wire brush and a sweepy thing yeah right let me do that [Music] exit now releasing get a wire brush this one a wire brush and a normal speaker brush and go over the whole thing with the wire brush and just get off the loose paint and things you possibly can don't worry so much about the inside because that's where it's gonna get mucky anyways gonna get burned so it's just a loose paint the loose ash pink that you want to get Oh perfect [Music] okay this barrel is different from the other one it seems to it nervous tension being taken out of it it seemed to have opened up a little bit more we might have to do a little bit more grinding on this edges and try and form it back into shape anything get it into a safe place where I can bend it back on itself there like and hold it and form so each one is unique and just treat it as such [Music] [Applause] [Music] yeah I can't sprain here I gotta bring you out here really makes it better I need to grind some of this so we're more sixes and twos today not wrong with me it's Friday though it's Oh gonna grind this side around the other side see if I can bend it into shape and then we'll start wiping it down and then spray it just know that everyone's drums to me differently it's gonna react differently to how you cut it and stuff so this is a good time before you actually do the final coat spray and to do any modifications that you need to do before you spray it obviously when you sprayed it that's it you're gonna be done right [Applause] the best I'm gonna get it to fit now I'm gonna go grab some spray grab some spray and then there my phone's ringing David Clarke hi David I think because it's Friday like half four in the afternoon that everyone's ringing because it's like getting it out the way for the weekend so yeah some good news today very happy away from myself it's all the same oh yes and we need to get some libation to spray down the barrel with so I'm using this Simon's car wash them because I find it really good custard grease excetera and I've got a dirty rag out there so all do is we'll go out give it a wipe and then put it up and it's put it up on the stand and give it a spray and spray it's risk rust-oleum stove barbecue paint this is not what I use on the other one I used another one for I use this one here this Charnwood charm wood stuff I'm not being I'm not being sponsored by any of these but any real barbecue heat resistant finish especially this one this is a this is a matthew finish so as you can see there Matt do you focus [Applause] [Music] now now the hang it up on there and spray [Music] [Applause] it's too windy I say filming today is not green as fluid as I'd liked it that was boring okay I've sprayed half of it but to run out of spray so I'm gonna use the other stuff and then it's nearly finished cracking [Music] this stuff right Yovani minutes so I don't recommend the other crap on rust-oleum one get the charm would Sean would spray much better because I'm much father faster and it has a nicer finish your seat as well a pearlescent II finish to the black while that's drying let's just talk about the frame for the grill it was a balloon here essentially it's four pieces of metal cut and drilled in the corners and bolted you can use anything for this any kind of angle iron steel brackets shelving whatever as long as it's you know decent thickness so that it's not going to melt or distort or anything don't use anything galvanized because that's poisonous when you're cooking problem I have now is that I when I made this piece cut off a piece of this this is what I used so now I'm gonna have to fabric couple a piece to make that work [Applause] so I'll just clean it up to get the surface scum of it it's a bit rusty so I want to get back down to steal the trick now is to measure the center of it measure the center of it use that one as a base measure out cut 45 degrees out here I'll cut a ninety degrees out and then bend it round and shape it and never try this before so I'm winging it I may end up cocking the whole lot up and yeah let's see [Applause] [Applause] kind of worked I thought I'd dare do the honor of showing you they've completed item now that it's it's all dry and it's anyway doing a quick burn this is it cooking away grills in and the frame is in how we like it everything seems to look quite nice I'm really pleased with this one it's just a little high for me it's just a little high compared to the other one but make it work I think it'll be alright I think it'll be fine so yeah looking forward to seeing yours if you leave a comment or if you do a video or you know whatever bye name is marina graveyard 10 guys day 3 of non-being steady yeah they're fine then we're gonna get this
