How to Lower and Increase Audio Volume in Shotcut (Fast Tutorial)

[Music] to get started I just added a video clip to my timeline as well as an audio track that I'd like to change at the volume of let's begin by selecting the audio clip on your timeline then go up to filters click the plus button in the filters window then in the search box type game select the game / volume filter to add it to your audio clip now to decrease the volume of your clip just drag the level slider to the left to lower the volume or direct the level slider to the right to increase the clips volume but let's say you only want to change the volume of part of your audio clip I'm going to get rid of this game filter since I'll need to re-add it later now just use a split tool to cut out the part of the audio clip you'd like to change the volume of select that cut out clip and add the game / volume filter like before drag the level slider to change the volume of your cutout audio clip and now when I play this back only the cutout part of the audio has had its volume changed ok and that's it for this tutorial things are watching in see you next time [Music]
