How To Install Wicked Whims Mod For Sims 4 | 2024

[Music] hi simmers in this video I'm going over how to install the wicked whims mod so what you're going to want to do is you're going to click the download button once you do that it's going to bring you over to this page at this point you want to click the itch.io please pay attention to this part right here you see this says April 1st was the last update okay if you don't pay attention to this you might end up having problems with Wicked whims so just be mindful and make sure you're always getting the most updated version what you're going to want to do is Click itch.io once you do that it'll bring you to this page you want to scroll all the way to the bottom okay once you make it to the bottom of the page you will see these links right here there's a reason this says old so do not download that because it says old just make sure that you download the most updated version which is the April 1st 2024 okay we going to click download once you do that downloads in the top right choosing all right let's get back to the mod guys so now that it is downloaded you want to go to the bottom of the screen and select file explore then you want to head over to the downloads folder once you're here you'll see a zip file you be like ooh nice little zip file there go to the bottom of the screen right click and select file explore again guys if you have mac you're going to select finder yours is not going to be F 4 okay now put this in a comfortable position and locate the documents folder guys once you do that locate the EA open up that open up your Sims 4 folder and open up your mods folder here is where you're going to want to put your wicked whims mod now before you do that you need to come back over to the downloads folder select it right click and select extract if you guys have file explorer if you have mac you're going to just double click and it'll open in the blue folder guys listen up all right if you have an extractor app then your app is probably open and it already has these Pages inside these two right here as long as you have these two pages in the mods folder guys your mod is going to work now please play close attention this is where a lot of people mess up especially my windows users CU I think Mac it isn't a folder in a folder it's just Windows users but I could be wrong so just pay attention the mods is right here this is where they need to go this is the folder we just opened you want to right click okay and you want to make sure that you extracted it if you already did that that double click and this is where you will see the wicked whims mod you're going to grab that specific mod folder and you're going to drag it to your Mod's folder when you double click that Wicked whims mod this is what you will see now here's the kicker do not go off of this video go back you see how that said wonderful whims if you have wonderful whims installed with your wicked whims mod it is not going to work so yes you have to choose do you want Wicked whims or do you want wonderful whims if you want wonderful whims you delete the wicked whims one if you want wonderful if you want Wicked whims you delete the wonderful whims one but the point of the matter is they're not going to be able to work if you have both of them in the folder so please keep that in mind all right after you guys install your mod make sure that you get your animations for your wicked whims installed how do you do that all you have to do is go back over to the wicked whims website and when you go to their website and you scroll to the bottom this is where you see the animators okay you can click them if you click the heart it takes you to lovers lab if you click the other one it takes you to different website I always use lovers lab but the in order to download these animations guys you want to make sure you create an account with lovers lab because they're not going to let you download until you do no you don't have to pay for anything you just
