How to install Mods for MSFS 2020 (Quick and easy)

hello there guys and girls hope you're doing well and welcome to the short tutorial on how i installed mods microsoft flight simulator uh a lot of people been asking me this question for a while now and how i'm installing my mods and getting them all to work seamlessly in microsoft flight simulator so in this video i'll show you exactly how i install mods the website i use and the file locations so the first thing you want to do is navigate to your local browser i use google and then what you want to do is go to a website called flightsim.2 on here you'll be able to find every type of microsoft flight simulator mod there practically is at the moment everything from uh and on airports to add-on aircraft uh scenery liveries absolutely everything is on here so for example if i want to go to international airports to download a new airport i'll give it a second to load up and i get a list of all the newest airports that are currently available for microsoft flight simulator so you have to literally just scroll down find what i like and when i see something that i do like for example norwich city airport here i thought i'd download that so click on it download the latest version give it five seconds and the download will start it's exactly the same when downloading aircraft deliveries so all you have to do is navigate to the aircraft that you would like the airbus a320 neo for me and find a livery that i like once i got that all we have to do is drop the files into the location that they are needed so once you've got the files that you would like to download go to your file browser and click on users go to your local user and then go to app data now this doesn't always appear for everyone on uh your computer so sometimes just go to view and make sure that hidden items is selected once you've got that done click on app data go to local find packages and scroll down until you find one file that's called microsoft.flight simulator and it will have a bunch of other letters after it double click on that now at this point i recommend you make a shortcut for the microsoft flight simulator uh file because that way it'll be much easier to find out later date when you want to keep adding mods so make a copy of that go to your local cache packages community and here you'll be able to put every single mod you ever download into the flight sim so all you have to do is find the files that you downloaded simply extract and drag and drop sometimes there will be a file issue i usually just skip it and it seems to work either way it might make a small blur or something on something but it shouldn't be too bad once your two files are now installed into the community folder that's literally it just close it and start microsoft flight simulator once you're in the sim the file should have been automatically uh imported so all you have to do if you've got a delivery go to your liveries and navigate to the livery that you have downloaded now for me i've obviously got quite a lot so might take me a few seconds to find mine there it is these jet holidays livery check that it's working it is fantastic go back and for the add-on airport i'm gonna go to the world map and see if it's appeared which it has norwich now most add-on airports seem to have this little plug-in icon that's really really helpful to show that your plugin is working so we're going to click on knowledge find a parking stand set departure press fly to make sure that everything in the sim is working properly here we are guys in the sim now obviously we're going to make sure that everything is working properly sorry for the lag is a bit of a laggy game sometimes uh right here we go so delivery has clearly loaded obviously i've rushed the download a bit and i had to skip a file so there's a little texture issue going on by obviously you can type that out by just going and re-downloading it again everything else though seems to be working pretty good all the files are here uh the airport looks great everything is in the sim so this works with every other mod that i've downloaded if you want liveries literally just click and download and drop all the files that you're looking for in your community folder and everything should appear normally well guys i hope this video has been useful please remember to like and subscribe and i'll see you in the next one goodbye
