let's see how we can install the latest K Linux version on our virtual box the first go to your browser and go to kali.org I have this link in the description you can get all the resources from the description and click on download here choose virtual machines and here you see a bunch of options now we will be choosing virtual box because we will be installing in Virtual box click on this and now your col is being downloaded let's wait till it's downloaded completely and then we'll start our installation once the download is complete what you can do is you can go to the folder wherever you have downloaded this and right click on this and click on extract all extract and our folder is being extracted so I'm getting this error that I don't have enough dis space so what I can do is I can just skip here skip this cancel this I'll move this to another Drive where I have storage and extract it here extract this here so finally our folder is unzipped and if you go inside you'll see these options now if I expand this there are two things here there is a virtual box image and a vdi what your dis image so what you need to do is open what box now click on ADD go back to our image and select this and now you don't need to do anything you can just hit start and here you'll see the message powering of PM so as you can see virtual box is now opening up you can close this and now you will see this option that will ask you for a username and password but if you remember we have not set a username and password so we will have to use the default usern name and password let's go back to our download folder and as you can see the default credentials are Kali Kali so let's go back to our machine here and enter K and password is also K AI click on login we can close this again and we are inside K Linux so yeah as you can see we have made this full screen and now we can use this as we want you can do anything you want from here now so as you can see I am inside my terminal and all the commands will work here and you can do whatever you want let's check this version and as you can see we are inside K Linux and the version ID is 2023.2rpm
