How To install Jenkins on Windows 11

hey guys welcome back to my channel technology and today in this video tutorial I will show you guys how to install genkins on your windows 11 PC or laptop so you just need to follow me so before install Jenkins on your computer make sure that you have downloaded Java on your computer if you have already have you don't need to download or install if you don't have then you just need to go to this Oracle website click on jdk 17 then click on Windows and here you will get install a version which is exe file or MSA file you have to download and install so first you just need to go to this website you just need to open your browser and go to this website which is jenkins. okay after that after go to this website you just need to click on this download button over here or else you can click on this download and now if you scroll down a little bit you will get uh genkins for all the uh platform So currently I am going to install for uh windows so I will download this one just wa for Windows now as you can see showing thank you for downloading so it is downloading so have to wait for a few seconds so after download jenkin's MSI file you just need to open that file on your Windows PC now click on next now here you can change the folder where you have installed so I will uh go with by default now click on next so here you will get two option which is run Service as local system and another one is run Service as local or domain user so you will choose this option you have to put your account name and password for local and domain so I'll choose the first one and click on next so here is a port number for uh Jenkins which is 8080 you can test the port so this port is available as you can see so I will click on next so as you can see now I have to select the Java folder location which is showing here please select the path of a Java development kit or Java runtime environment which is only for Java 11 17 and 21 are supported so you just need to click on change and you just need to go to Java folder and click on okay then click on next after that you just need to click on next and install so after install done you just need to go to your web browser and you just need to uh type Local Host sorry Local Host then uh colon 808 80 and press enter so now as you can see showing like administrative password so you just need to copy this location so right click copy and go to your my Compu me this PC and the search uh paste it over here and press enter now it will open so select notepad and click on just once after that copy this uh admin password after that paste it over here and click on continue after that here you just need to select install suggested plugins now it will automatically install all the plugins which is required for these genkins so after done you just need to create a first admin user you just need to put your username so you can put any username click on Save and continue after that click on Save and finish now click on start using genkins and after that you are done so I hope this Qui tutorial really help for you and please don't forget to click on the Subscribe button like button and share button and if you have any requ a question then comments down below I will see you guys in the next for next video till then bye-bye take care
