foreign hi everyone so this is the Lenovo ThinkPad t480s running Mac OS with no issues and I think it worth showing you guys how I made that possible my name is wills and I really appreciate your presence here I tried my best to make this video as short as I can so that you guys would spend less time watching but learn a lot from it enough of the talking let's get right into the video let's start by installing bolina etcher since that is what we need to flash the disk image to the flash drive click on the flash from file and locate where you place the Mac OS disk image file mine is in the Hackintosh folder on the desktop after doing that you can proceed by clicking on disk Target do not forget to use a 16 gigabytes flash drive or more now click on flash and wait till it's done in my previous video I had many people asking me how I found my cpu's code name so I decided to include that process in this video head to any browser search for cpu-z and download and install it as shown in the video my cpu's code is KB lake so the EF5 folder I need should be KB Lake and nothing more I am about to download The Right EF5 folder from the o'learyless site and it is as easy as shown in the video actually they've separated it into two suppose you're using a desktop PC download from the desktop side and notebook for laptops anyway thanks to the alarala team I really appreciate their work giving me extract the EFI alongside Explorer plus plus said maybe you can't some kind of butterfly head to your browser and download mini tool partition we will need that to assign a letter to our flash drive zfi partition open mini tool partition and change the letter of the EFI partition sometimes it can be stubborn so you need to try different letters open Explorer plus plus as an administrator and delete everything in the EFI partition copy and paste the EFI folder you downloaded and extracted to your EFI partition make sure everything is done in Explorer plus plus to void problems now you have a successful bootable USB drive boot into your bios settings and make these few changes before you proceed with the installation with my in most cases you only need to turn off secure Boot and TPM the other settings are strictly for this laptop foreign now enter the boot options and select your flash drive from there in case everything goes well reset your nvram and repeat the whole boot option process this time select install Mac OS and let it do its own thing until you see the welcome screen [Music] here you are with the welcome screen and it's a few clicks to the Disk Utility click on the drop down menu and select show all devices now click on the internal drive and erase everything note that this action will delete everything on your disk so do not forget to back up everything before proceeding foreign [Music] Monterey but it is the same process for any other Mac OS version now relax and let it do its own it it will restart several times so don't worry thank you foreign foreign it's time to move the EFI folder on the flash drive to the internal disk of the system so that it can boot Mac OS on its own without the help of the flash drive to do this we need open core configurator and I have provided a link to every file used in this video install open core configurator Mount The Flash drive's EFI partition and copy the EF5 folder elsewhere thank you foreign foreign T Mount the system's EFI partition and delete everything in it now copy the EF5 folder we moved elsewhere to the internal disk EFI partition and reboot the system that is it the system should boot on its own now without the flash drive in my case everything is fixed so a single reboot and everything will work to those who want my EFI folder I have provided a link to it in the video description thank you for watching and I will catch you guys in the next video foreign
