hello it seems that people love playing and making games using microcontrollers or development boards this citygoat display board is great for that my last two ttgo display games were quite popular on my youtube channel first game was this breakout game and second was this space shooter game this space shooter is a complex and good looking game but it needs additional pcb and components so not many people tried it on my github page i can see that many people tried a breakout game so i decided to make another game and this one also don't don't need external components or pcb and of course it is also space game called alien attack it can be played using only two buttons so i can move left and right and when i press both buttons i can fire these red bullets or lasers point of game is stay alive as long as possible longer you play games gets harder and harder enemies moves faster and faster this will be a longer video because i will in this video i will show you how to upload these games on your ttgo board i will show you how to install ttgo display board in your arduino ide and how to install all the libraries that are needed last week i posted this weather station project using same ttgo board some people was unable to upload sketch properly because the ttgo board was not properly installed so this time i will show you all steps including installation of board this will be we can call it beginner video also if you like this uh weather station project link is down in description of this video also if you want to buy this uh ttgo display also in description you can find buying a link if you are not my subscriber feel free to join this community and feel free to subscribe lately i'm working hard on this channel and i would be very happy to see some new subscribers thank you very much okay let's install these ttgo boards in arduino ide okay here i have fresh install of arduino ide just second and we can see that i have only original arduino boards here so i need to install esp32 boards first i will need this link you can find this link in the description of this video please copy this link go to file preferences and additional board manager and you can paste it here and click ok now go to tools board boards manager and you can write here esp32 you can now install this one now we need to wait some time our arduino ide will install all boards and we can see that esp32 boards are installed i can click close and if i go to tools boards i can see that now i have many esp32 boards installed boards we looking board we're looking for is this one ttgo lora32 oled v1 but tft display is still not installed so so i will go sketch include library manage libraries and here i will write dfd espi and i will install this library by put bear i don't know how to pronounce this tft library supports many boards so we will need to edit some setup files to make it work with our t2go display board to do that go to my documents arduino libraries and here will be this dft espi folder and find user setup dot h file i will open it using notepad and first you will need to find this line this at beginning of the document and you will need to comment it here are setup files we need to find setup file 25 here it is and i will need to uncomment delete these two lines and of course save it now i can go back to my arduino ide try some example sketch so i will go i will choose choose write board i will choose right port and i will go to file examples i will find tft aspi examples i will choose this first one and i will choose print test and i can hit upload after compiling sketch will will upload to your ttgo board and if you on your tft display you should see this now let's try to upload my game to your board please visit this github page a link will be in description of this video and you will need to download code in zip file find your download file i will copy it to my desktop and i will extract it now i have this folder and here is arduino code here is code feel free to modify it or use for whatever you want i will check is right board selected i will check port and i will upload this game to my ttgo board have fun with it that's it i hope you like my video feel free to check my other videos and of course subscribe i will see you next week goodbye you
