hey there everyone attesh here back again with another video and in case you are following me up on youtube you know this is an installation section i'm setting up a new machine i'm installing a lot of things onto it so continuing with that phase i was planning to make a full stack of a video a few videos three to four videos i don't know how many but three to four videos and i was planning to use app right onto that now app right is almost like firebase but much more awesome because it's open source it's a continuously evolving project and i was planning to use app right into my next upcoming full stack kind of a crash course that i was planning for youtube it was almost done there but since i'm into new machine app right is not here so whenever i'll be teaching that video that hey we'll be using app right i'll be referring to this video that hey how to install that so let me walk you through with that how does app write works into this one so this is what we have in the browser these two tabs are from the last video i hope you have watched that so this is what we have app right and i want to install that so app right is also available on to one click install on digital ocean so in case you are a digitalocean user there is a app right available up here in the in the marketplace so in the marketplace you can just click that it will spin off a five dollar ten dollar machine and everything will be pre-configured onto it so in case you want to go with that you can create a droplet from there but i would love to install it on my own system so for that i can just click on get started it says hey you need to have a docker installed before you go ahead and use this one so let's go ahead and install the docker as well because this is a fresh machine and i don't have a docker installed onto this one so docker desktop back with intel chip or mac with apple chip and you can use for windows as well just like that make sure your virtualization is enabled yes that bios mode and go on to that and virtualization yeah that needs to be enabled i'm going to for apple uh version of it and i'll be saving this as a docker the installation on the mac is pretty straight forward actually in windows also it's straightforward you just need to make sure that you have a proper version of your windows as well you need a bigger version the paid one so let's go ahead and just drag and drop this to applications and the docker should be installed within a few seconds so we can close this one or we can just allow it to do just a few more seconds okay so it took a little bit more than a few seconds but finally docket is up here and i can hopefully put up and run the command darker it's going to find the darker and darker will be up and running in a few seconds let me quickly yep it is i want to open that up and docker desktop needs privilege access yes of course why not so let me go ahead and enter my password and yes after reading very precisely all the documentation i'm gonna go ahead and accept all of this and this is my docker desktop starting i can also see the docker at the very top it is docker rising all of the things not dockerizing it's just starting it it's gonna take a couple of more seconds we can upgrade the plan in case you wish to but here are all the images and containers right now nothing is there probably gonna take a few more seconds to get it up i would love to sign in here okay so finally it is up and running and we have all the guides to run different kind of stuff although we could have run directly mongodb into dockerization or docker itself let's go ahead and sign in and there we go all of our user names so i do have a docker account in case you don't have you don't need to actually go ahead and log in but i would love to yep let's go into this and open the docker and there we go just processing my data now for this case you don't need to but having an account always is kind of a better idea you just keep all of your preferences and everything so i have no images i should be having some remote repositories i touched on to docker a bit while ago yep there is one there is one hello crow okay i'll be pushing up some new ones now that i have a lot of free time okay now let's see come back on to the app right docker is all up and running let's go up here all we need is just this command click here to copy hopefully that is being copied i can go on to my terminal and just paste this command and hit enter so it's unable to find the app right image locally this is how always the docker images work first it tries to find it into a local system if it doesn't find it looks into the image repository of the docker and from there this is pulling in all of this shouldn't take much of the time but obviously it is downloading from the internet itself so let's give it a few moments to do all the magic okay so the pulling of the image is all done and now it's asking where would you like to run your http port now this is kind of a back end service you can definitely move it to 8000 8080 wherever you like to have i would love to run it on port 80 i would love to go with the default one and https on 443 which is a default port when you move it to onto servers or any cloud or hosting it should be same choose a secret api to make sure the backup of the locals so yes i would love to choose a secret key which is not really secure i'm just putting up my name and enter your app right hostname default localhost love it don't want to change it dns record we don't want to change this as of now when you put it up onto digitalocean or something this actually automatically takes your dns or your website name or your ips uh we are absolutely fine with the localhost now running docker compose so yep this is all good looks like i haven't seen what's in the aml file but i'll go with the default options okay it took just couple of seconds not too much and we can see app right installed successfully and now it is there now if i go back and kind of minimize this one and i see where is my docker where is my docker here is my docker i can see there is a container app right and it has 20 containers inside it so all these things are just running web hooks and builds in real time certain databases there's a lot of stuff there's a lot of stuff inside it i just want to open it up you can open it up in vs code now i would love to see that how it is running up and all of this so this is good okay now moving on let's go ahead and open this up so we're going to be going and saying localhost colon80 let's go ahead and hit that this is where our app right instance is now we have to create a root account make sure you remember this otherwise you have to remove the previous image and have to make another image this is how you enter into the picture so i'll be entering my name my email oops really big one and password as well yep that's not a strong password yeah that seems like okay and i agree and no i don't want monthly newsletter as of now maybe later on i'll just do a sign up and it looks okay don't want to save any of that and now i'm already all set i can go ahead and create the new project project id this is the point where we'll be going through with the app right in a later on video when we'll be creating an end-to-end project which has login some to-do's or something like that and this is what the video i was planning to make but this is fun this is fun this is a your installation and walkthrough guide how to set up locally app right i hope you have enjoyed that in case you have enjoyed share this video hit that subscribe and i'm gonna catch you up in the next video
