How to import Sketchup to Lumion - Lumion tips and Tricks Sketchup 2021

hi guys welcome to sketchup educators my name is boris and welcome to my youtube channel today i'm going to show you how to import your sketchup model to lumion using some simple steps so if you're new here consider subscribing to my channel smash that subscribe button and click on the notification bell so that i get notified every time i upload a video so stay tuned let's go and jump into today's video so in today's video what we're going to do is we're going to open a sketchup file we're going to open sketchup then what we're going to do is this model that i used is from i downloaded it from there google warehouse and you're going to have some free 3d models there so what you do is open our file [Music] so now this is the model that i have from the one i downloaded from the warehouse so what you're going to do is i'm going to export this so that i want to import this into lumion 10 so you go to file and go to export and 3d model so now all we do is we save the file our export file will save it rename it they will save it as a colada file yeah that's with that that makes it very easier for you to export it so you go to the save as type after renaming it go to the savers type they select the collada then now you will spot it one export is just taking a few minutes then you're done with it so the next thing we do is we open our lumion let me on 10 that's what i'm using as a now and when you convert your file to a collider it makes importantly very easy so i normally use a option that save us type so now we open we select the plane side so that we import our model [Music] as you can see i'm just navigating to just to see so we go to import then now you search for your firewall you save the file this is what i've seen my file i select the options and be looking for the colada file type so you go there and that's the only type that i'll be showing so you see that's how it shows so as soon as you click on it this is what pops up this is how it drops so you just click anywhere and you see as soon as you click it still has duplicates all you do is just press the escape button to get rid of the other one then you're done so all i'm doing is just trying to raise the level of the model so i can have everything that i saved in the model so this is a very simple step of importing your model to lumion and as i said it's very easy to do as a beginner or anything it's very easy to do so let me know what you think about this video hit the like button if you like this video smash that subscribe button and click on the notification bell so that i get notified every time i upload a video you
