[Music] today a long-time customer came to me to bring me a PC that he would like to format and on which he would like to reinstall Windows 11, so I spontaneously asked him why he continues to bring me his PCs to have the operating system reinstalled since I also explained on several videos how to carry out this operation he looked at me with a sly look and said Oh no because when I format them the computers are slower and instead when you format them they are faster and therefore it is evident that you didn't tell us everything and you kept some secrets to yourself Well it's not exactly like that but I confirm that I haven't explained everything about what happens after formatting the computer and above all how I actually install the operating systems in order to make them faster but this it's not a secret that I've kept to myself given that Microsoft periodically publishes or rather updates a document with all the best practices for making PCs with Windows 10 and Windows 11 faster. I have to say that I don't exactly follow Microsoft's guidelines and that I personally made some changes but at this point let's not waste any more time and let's see together how to install Windows on your computer to make it a rocket do you feel Ready let's get started Well yes Microsoft has been publishing and periodically updating these guidelines for the optimization of Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems which are divided into 10 steps. As you can see, the steps are the same whether we are talking about Windows 10 or Windows 11 but I must confess that I do not follow them strictly because I believe that in some of them Microsoft gives a little water to its Mill and so I have developed my own personalized version which is the one I want to show you right now the first thing you need to know is that contrary to what I usually show in the videos for your convenience I do not use for internal laboratory use of ISOs in Italian but I prefer international English as you can see and this for a variety of reasons. The first is that I also have foreign clients and this gives me a wider range of selection of the various languages but also above all for a reason that I will immediately show you when I have to install Windows even if the customer is Italian I always choose the English World language and I do it for a very specific reason which is that when I use this language Windows will not install all that Blot wear or all those accessory programs which often, in addition to making it heavier, are absolutely useless unless they are then Italianized as I will shortly show you the language to make it Italian again so my advice when you need to install Windows 10 or Windows 11 and you have to do it for a machine that must develop maximum performance is always to start from English World and now we continue with the installation but I remind you that if by chance you don't know how to download the ISO of Windows 10 or Windows 11 or If you don't know all the steps to take, I'll leave you a description and for your convenience, here at the top is a link to a video that explains everything, but my suggestion is to go and watch it after the end of this video so you can get there already ready. to make all the right choices at the right time And here we are, as you can see, your Windows has been installed in an absolutely unnoticed way, that is, the start menu is missing all those very boring Apps which in 90% of cases, let's face it, are useless and which above all make you lose a lot of time after the installation to go and remove them, they are all already removed and the Windows is almost ready to be used before proceeding. In fact, with the rest of the cleaning we will have to go to Italianize to do it, click on settings and once opened let's go to the time and language item here on the left we then click on the language and Region item we choose the Add a language button and type ita in the top bar to take us to the Italian language we choose Italian Italy we click on the Next button and we wait a minute for the installation to finish ours [Music] language and nothing not even time to finish eating the Gocciole I have to go and add set as My Windows display language and then click on the Install button I go back to [Music] eat Ok we have installed the Italian language what we have to do now is to specify here in Country or Region that we are in Italy. Then scroll up to the ie we choose Italy and as the regional format we could still choose Italian Here it is, finally we go down to the bottom of the window and choose the administrative language settings item let's open it, let's start from the last button at the bottom and here too we'll indicate Italian as the language, click on ok And finally on the Copy settings button, the topmost one, we'll check both of these items and finally click on ok And on restart Now And here we go our computer will restart and we will finally have installed the Italian language but our optimization work is still at the beginning. In fact, the next step is to bring us down here on the start menu, open the settings again on the left side, choose the Windows update item followed from the check availability button and carry out all the necessary updates, this is important to do exactly at this moment to avoid having to do the same job twice, usually what I do while the system updates are being carried out and go down here to delete some things In fact, by clicking with the right button in an empty spot on the taskbar and choosing the taskbar settings item we could deactivate, as I always do, both the display of activities because I don't usually use it and the widgets, finally transforming the search box in the search icon because I find it much simpler to use, let's go back to check the situation on the installations and wait for the end and we've arrived at the time to update the drivers. To do so, we'll go to File Explorer at the bottom and open it. let's go and click on this hill arrows here. We go down until we find the control panel where we will choose the view instead of by category for large icons. among the icons we will find the device management icon which we will open here we will make sure that all the devices have installed the latest driver and in case they are not updated we will proceed with a manual installation of the drivers we have seen in a previous video How to manually update the video files which I leave you here at the top in the description and if you do not If you feel like doing this manually, know that you can instead use the Snappy driver program that we talked about previously and that I will leave in the description of this video like all the other links to videos and useful resources so that you can find them easily after the updates. of Windows it is possible that some Blot wear returns to your PC at this point we should make a small adjustment which consists in opening the control panel again exactly as we saw before and this time taking us to the programs item we choose the Uninstall a program item and once opened we will hunt for all those applications that we don't want to have on our PC because we don't use them, the recommendation is naturally to use a little caution when we go to uninstall an application trying to make sure that this one is not useful this operation will be particularly important for computers that already had Windows installed and that did not use a deblo version in this case Select the programs you want to remove and choose the Uninstall item to then follow the guided procedure which naturally changes from program to program once finished your cleaning you can continue with the next step Yes, because we have reached the moment of background apps As for Windows 10 which are instead called startup apps on Windows 11 what should we do We must go to the Start button again and reopen the settings item but this time at the top left in the search menu we will type startup app in the case of Windows 11 or background app in the case of Windows 10, carry out our search and open the relevant item we will see all of them listed the apps that are automatically started on our computer we are going to deselect everything that we do not need to have automatically started leaving instead the apps that are more important we close the window at this point and to complete the job we type the key combination control shift and es let's go to the Startup Apps item again and make sure that there are no other apps left in automatic startup that we want to disable in case we want to disable another app from this screen we will select the app by clicking on it you will click it says to enter the settings appearance and performance of Windows and choose the rule item to obtain optimal performance which I quite agree with even if in this case we are going to sacrifice a little bit of Windows graphics to do this operation we will move down to what we now we have transformed it into the search lens and we are going to type exactly performance we will see this icon appear here which is called modify the appearance and performance of Windows let's open it and in the window that opens we will choose the rule item in order to obtain the best performance not it's called optimal performance But it's called better performance At least on Windows 11 However, the advice I would like to give you is to go even a little further down and reselect the item smooth the corners of the characters on the screen since Mol would bother you to see it grainy Windows characters at this point we click on the Apply item but before clicking on the Ok item let's go to advanced and talk for a moment about what the Windows paging file is. And here I have to work very hard not to give you a big head like this let's simply say that the Windows paging file is a virtual memory file that is used to expand the physical memory installed on our computer as needed if we look at what Microsoft suggests about letting Windows automatically manage the size of the paging file and almost certainly if you click on the change button on your computer you will see that this very item will be set.
