how you guys doing today so in today's video I'm going to show you guys how you can fix the issue that doesn't let you play games with this thing that control us so I have this issue with God before to where when I try to play the game it doesn't register the steam that controls so this is how you fix it as you see right here I'm trying to use the controllers I'm hitting the down button nothing's happening I'm hitting the analog stick nothing's happening so the controllers are not registering right so this is pretty simple to fix so to fix this you just want to exit the game you want to go to settings here and find developer option and check that box off like you see right here so after you do that you then want to open up the game god of war and you want to go to the settings and in the settings you want to go to developer option and delete proton now after you delete the proton you want to open up the send again go to properties here compatibility and check the experimental box so make sure you pick proton experimental and then you want to then open up the game again like you see right here and that's it that's how you fix it as you can see right now the controllers are working for God of War for this team that guy fellas if you guys like this video hit the like button for more our steam Deck reviews and tips we'll catch you guys next one till next time peace out
