How To Fix The Blinking Blue Light On PS5 / Blue Light Of Death On PS5 In 2024

what is up everyone this is Mo gamer here and today I'm going to show you how to fix the PlayStation 5 blue blinking light of death error that you may be pacing in 2024 so let's get right into this the first and foremost thing is you want to turn off your PlayStation 5 console completely obviously if that error is happening it's most likely going to be off but if it's not just power it off and then what we're going to do is we're going to enter into safe mode so the way you do this is at the bottom of it doesn't matter if it's a disc or dis L PlayStation 5 you want to hold on to the power button until you hear two beeps we heard the first beep we're going to wait until we hear a second beep and then we're going to let go boom second be so we're going to basically let go now the next thing is you want to make sure a USB cable is plugged into your console and a USBC cable is plugged into your PlayStation 5 uh uh sorry controller if not you're basically not going to be able to work inside safe mode so you basically need this plugged in to be able to do what you need to do in here now the thing you want to be cognizant of in here is you're going to do a couple of things the first thing you're going to do is you're going to do restart your PlayStation 5 and and just see if that that fixes it for you if it does great you don't need to do anything else the next thing you might need to do is you might need to do change video output so you can either change your resolution or change your hdcp mode from here directly see if that fixes it for you the third thing you can do is you can repair console storage you it says over here your console storage will be repaired your PS5 will restart uh so you'll see that over here to the repair if that doesn't work you can do update system software you can actually update it directly from here you'll see even though my console's actually up to date you'll be able to actually re-update from here if you want to as well it's just going to look for it uh preferably you're connected via Ethernet cable and it's just going to update it to that version and then you'll be good to go uh if that doesn't work you can clear don't you don't need to do restore default settings you can try this one uh I this one is more up to you if you want to just kind of go with the extra route and see if this fixes it for you which is option number five right if you wanted to do restore default settings the next one is clear cash and rebuild database it's two sections inside do both of them and see if this fixes it for you uh number seven is you can reset your PlayStation 5 which is going to basically delete all your data from here and bring it back to factory default settings and the final one is reset PS5 through a USB device I have a video on how to do this I will leave it in the link description below this is like the ultimate uh reinstallation basically occurring on your console and it's going to delete everything from your console so if you want to go down this route you can but it's again it's just going to delete everything off your console uh so yeah that's basically it if you guys still have any comments questions concerns let me know in the comments section below more that you guys are if you guys are Z please smash that like button guys are new to channel make sure subscribe that notification B I'm coming out peace
