hey guys if you're trying to play Roblox but the game keeps crashing or freezing then hold on tight is in this video I'm going to share with you all the solutions to get your game back up and running without any further interruptions so the first thing we're going to do is we want to clear the Roblox cache data sometimes cache data files can get corrupted and if that's the case it can cause issues such as crashing so how we do this on a Windows computer is we first open up the start menu by pressing the Windows key and then we need to search for run and then if we select this and then in the search box we want to type in percentage sign Local app data percentage sign SLT and then we just want to press okay and now from this folder we want to find the Roblox folder and then we just want to select the Roblox folder and then hit the trash icon at the top here to delete it now another thing we want to do is to make sure the Roblox servers are actually operational occasionally the servers can go down for things like maintenance and could cause your game to crash how we check this is by opening a web browser and we want to type in status. roblox.com now you can see here that there is a green message that says everything's operational but if the Roblox servers were down or experiencing an issue it would be listed here and you could be almost certain that it would be the reason you're encountering issues another quick and easy solution that sometimes fixes the issue for players is to make sure you are running the app under administrator settings to do this simply come over to the Roblox app and right click and then we want to select run as administrator now a Windows popup may appear like this and you simply need to select yes so if none of the steps have helped so far the next thing I suggest is to uninstall and reinstall the app to do this head to the start menu and search for the word app and we want to click on add or remove programs and then we're going to use this search feature to find the Roblox app and we want to find the Roblox player not the studio and we want to click these three little dots and hit uninstall and then once we've uninstalled the app to reinstall it we just need to head to a browser and head over to roblox.com /d download and then we can click this download Windows app button here and once it's finished downloading you can try relaunching the app to see if it's fixed the issue another effective solution is to ensure that our graphic drivers are up toate old and outdated graphic cards could cause your game to lag freeze or Worse even crash to update our drivers all we need to do is head over to the start menu again and this time we're going to search for drivers and then we just want to select device manager here and we want to come down to display adapters and we want to click this little drop- down arrow and as you can see my graphics card is listed here so all you need to do is right click and select update driver now you can do this one or two ways you can use the automatic update tool or you will need to head to your graphics manufacturer cards website to check for the latest updates now after completing these steps hopefully the issue has now been fixed but if you're still experiencing problems then make sure to disconnect any external devices that may be connected connected to your computer such as steering wheels or game controllers as this can sometimes interfere with the running of the app please drop a like And subscribe if this video helped you or drop a comment below if you're still encountering any issues and I'll try my best to assist you until next time
