How to Fix No Sound Problem in Windows 11 [2024 Guide]

[Music] hello everyone how are you doing this is mdte here with another quick tutorial in today's tutorial I'm going to show you how to resolve a common issues or problems you're having with sound or audio on your windows 11 computer so this can be a very common issue and in today's tutorial I'm going to show you guys how to hopefully resolve it without too much of a hassle and without further Ado let's go ahead and jump right into it so first thing I would suggest doing would be going down to your system tray and locating your sound icon so go ahead and just select that if you notice there's a little X next to it you want to go ahead and just click on that one time the little sound icon to unmute it and you may have to drag the bar further up to the right in order to adjust the audio sound output settings so that's something I'd recommend taking a look at so hopefully that would have been able to resolve the issue something further we can take a look into would be opening up the search menu type in control panel best match circum back with control panel go ahead and open that up set your view by up in the top right to large icons and then you want to go down and select the sound entry in here so go ahead and left click on that you want to select the playback device that's highlighted or default device in here just left click on it and select properties select the enhancements Tab and then you want to check mark versus disable all enhancements and once that's done select apply and okay okay one more time and close out of here now you want to open up the search menu type in Services best result sure come back with Services go ahead and open that up now you want to go down to the Windows audio service and double click on it you want to set startup type here to automatic and if service status is stopped you want to select the start option and then select apply and okay and then we also want to open up the search you one more time and type in device manager best result should come back with Device Manager so go ahead and open that up locate the sound video and game controller entry in here double click on it right click on the audio device and select update driver select browse my computer for drivers and then select let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer select your audio device from this list in here and then select next select yes you want to close out of here and then restart your computer e and there you go guys hopefully at this point your sound should have been restored on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer so as always thank you guys for watching this brief tutorial I do hope I was able to help you out and I do look forward to catching you all in the next tutorial goodbye
