How To Fix NBA 2K24 Crashing on PC Steam

hey guys in this video I will show you how you can fix MB 2k2 24 crashing on uh steam it's quite easy and straightforward so without further Ado let's get started first of all you need to go to library then you need to go to the game properties and make sure uh update is always keep this game updated so this means basically if you see this play button you good to go but if you see update you just need to make sure that your game is fully updated and then you just need to go to properties and then need to go to installed files and verify Integrity of the game files so maybe your game uh have has some corrupted files that need to be fixed so go ahead and do so it will take you a couple of minutes to complete and after that you just need to run the game and still if the problem persists and another thing that you need to do here you need to make sure that your operating system and your GPU drivers is fully updated and to do so you just need to go to settings then you need to go to Windows update check for updates and if there is an update that you need to download and install it please do so restart your computer and then you need to look if the problem persists or not same thing with your GPU drivers depending on what GPU are using I'm using Nvidia so there is GeForce experience to that uh I just need to go to drivers check for updates and I just need to install latest GPU drivers and if using EMD I believe there is EMD radiant to that and also you can go to device man through device manager you will see this message then you go to display adapters right click on it update driver and search automatically for drivers and still if this doesn't help you then you need to make sure that you're not running um U mk24 uh with the overlay so you just need to go to MBA here properties then make sure to uh disable steam overlay in game and also you need to go to settings on game then you need to go and probably interface I believe and somewhere here should be also a steam overlay right so you just need to disable that overlay thing and then you need to look if the problem persists or not in game and here should be overlay we just need to disable it as well and if this doesn't help you then you need to go to Windows Defender Firewall uh make sure to turn off uh your windows Defender Firewall here and if you're using for example third party uh firewall uh antivirus softwares like vast me or something like that disable them as well then you need to go to allow an app or feature to Windows Defender Firewall then you need to click on the tasks here on one of the task and then press n and here it will be MBA to K24 and if there is make sure that is on Public public option is turn on and if there is no MB here so you just need to go to allow another app then you need to go to browse then you need to go to uh for me is on dis C program file c86 Steam and then steam apps common and then here and and here you just need to add this thing here right and if this doesn't help you then another thing that you need to do here you need to go to steam uh right click on your game properties installed files browse and then here should be exe file properties again compatibility make sure to disable full screen optimizations and run this program as an ministrator then you you need to press change High DPI settings select this option over ride High DPI scaling behavior and select application and if this doesn't help you then the last thing that you can do here is to basically go to virus and tread protection and then you need to select this option here uh toggle off realtime protection and then scroll down to exclusions and then add remove exclusion and then add exclusion folder and then you just need to go to this C program files steam uh steam apps common uh MBA and just add MBA folder here right and then start your computer and your problem should be fixed right so that's pretty much it and if I help you please press like button and subscribe for more take care bye
