How to FIX "Could not find the Recovery Environment" on Windows 11 / 10 | FIX Can't Reset Windows

good day everyone welcome back to Crown geek now in this video we will discuss about a problem when you try to reset your PC on your windows 11 or Windows 10 and you get an option an error message that could not find the recovery environment and it says insert your Windows installation or recovery media and restart your PC with the media so let me show you right now if I make a right click on the windows I can and then when I go to settings when I go to Windows update Advanced options and when I click on recovery and reset this PC now I get two different options and if I choose any one of them so you see that I'm getting this kind of error message could not find the recovery environment now basically why this error occurs there can be two different reason number one your recovery drive has been disabled number two your recovery drive has been deleted I will be sharing both the solution so make sure that you watch the video till the end now number one what you will have to do you need to minimize everything then you need to make a right click on the Windows icon from the suggestion choose Disk Management now here you can see that I have a recovery partition let me expand it you can see I have a recovery partition and still I am getting this kind of message so probably this recovery partition has been disabled all right so let me quickly go ahead and try to enable it so for that you need to click on your windows search type CMD right click on the command prompt choose run as administrator then click on yes the black window will be coming up now here first we will find out that whether the recovery drive has been disabled or enabled so for that you have to type re agent P space forward slash info and here you can see it says Windows re that is recovery status disable and this is the reason why we are having the trouble and we are not able to reset the PC so in order to enable it what you will have to type here re agent t space Power slash enable identity and you will see that it says operation successful and now again if I go back and check the status so you can see that it's showing me enabled and even it shows me the recovery location right okay so let's go back and again if I go to my research this PC option and click on reset PC and then click on keep my files so you can see now it's working and I'm getting this option ready to reset this PC all right so the problem has been fixed here but in case if you don't find the recovery Drive listed here and if it's been accidentally deleted then next what you will have to do you will have to find the windows 11 backup of your computer and that backup only can help you to get the recovery drive back so there is no other option in order to get this recovery drive back and for that you can just check while purchasing the computer probably you have created any kind of Windows 11 backup or you may have got from the manufacturer and if not then finally you will have to go and format the computer fully okay so it's always recommended that you should create a Windows 11 backup drive so that you can get in use for such kind of problems I've already created a video you can check out that video in order to create the windows 11 backup okay so hopefully guys this solutions and these tips will surely work for you and if you have any question let me know in the comment section and I see you in the next video bye
