How To Fix CapCut Lag & Get Smooth Video Playback On PC!

in this video I'm going to show you how to fix lag and cap cut on PC so when you're pressing play to view your edits it starts lagging so here's how to fix it the first thing you want to do is go to these three lines under player then we're going to go to preview quality and we're going to change this to Performance priority which is going to prioritize playback smoothness whilst you're watching your video now that's not the only thing I want you to click on your timeline anywhere where there's not the video or text so just right in this gray area then you'll see the project settings here which you can actually modify so let's do that now you'll see the details we're going to be heading over to Performance and we're going to turn on the proxy so this will speed up editing and video quality won't be affected so let's turn that on then you want to select a resolution and I recommend you choose the lowest one available to you for me it's 540p now if you're wondering what does this do well it essentially renders video playback at a lower resolution so it doesn't lag and this does not affect the end result so we're going to go to save so when you end up actually exporting your video once you're done editing with it it is not going to come out in 540p it's still going to come out at the high resolution this is just a temporary resolution so you're not lagging while using cap cut so hopefully this video is helpful like And subscribe and we'll see you in the next one
