How To EXTRACT LEFT & RIGHT AUDIO CHANNEL in Adobe Audition CC 2023

in this video I'm going to show you how to extract your left channel from right channel in order Bay audition why you would do that it's very simple because if you have a recording and you record it in two channels so maybe you had two microphones and you have something else going on in Left Channel and then in right meaning channel one channel two and you need to separate them so maybe that's the speaker one a speaker two and you need to just make them separate so you can mix them separately very easy let's go to audition import your file and as you can see even when you you don't even have to play it and you can see that you have different Peaks meaning there's something else in left and something else in the right Channel so how can I make this separate and number one you have also something which is called the phase meter and if you go to either one or minus one that means you have the same thing on the Left Channel and right channel but if this is going on in between zero and just like all over the place like here but it really came um when I was pregnant as you can see it's going on all over the place so it doesn't know it's going to the left Channel or right channel if I have something which is completely the same it's just gonna go bam all the way to the right or all the way to the left meaning you have the same thing watch out closely because this is super easy you right click anywhere in this area right here and you go all the way down and click on extract channels to Mono files when you do that you will see in your files you have the same original thing but you have left and then right so basically if I double click I'm gonna now work with the Left Channel if I double click on the r I'm gonna work with the right Channel and then if you want to put that in the multi-track you can create multi-track and then throw your right Channel and then left Channel meaning you have the speaker number one speaker number two and now you can actually mix them separately as easy as this is if this was helpful to you please like this video subscribe for more comment for any questions and I'll see you next time
