How to Extract Audio from Video | Separate, Edit & Download!

- Let's say you recorded a video but you only need the audio of that recording. Well, in this video, I'm gonna show you how you can easily detach, extract, edit and separately download the audio from your video. In this case, we're gonna use VEED's online video editor. So to get started, simply click on the first link in the description. And now we automatically start a new project within VEED's editor and we can instantly get started, we can upload our video. So to get started, click on upload a file. Select a video you wanna detach the audio from. In this case, this one and click on open. In this case, I recorded a video with audio and it's a part of my podcast episode. Welcome to my podcast. In this episode, I'm gonna talk about flying scroll. In this case, I wanna detach the audio and download it as an MP3 file. Now first, let's detach the audio from the video. So to make this happen, head over to the bottom timeline and right click on the video file. And then you see audio, hover your mouse over it and then click on detach audio. And as you can see in the bottom timeline, the audio is separate from the video. Now you can actually trim, split, cut or move the audio file around without harming the video file. Now, in this case, I only want to keep the audio so I'm not gonna trim anything. So I'm gonna extend it to its full length again but something that's important to know, if you detach the audio and selected it, an edit audio manual pops up on the left. You can adjust the volume, you can let it fade in and out. You can click on clean audio which removes the background noise and you can actually change the speed and obviously the duration within the menu as well. So that's how easily detach and edit the audio separately from your video. Now, if you wanna export your audio as an MP3, head over to export in the right top corner and click on export video. And then once it's rendered, simply head over to the download button and click on downloads MP3 and you can find it back in your downloads folder.
