How to Enable New Start Menu Feature in Windows 11 22635.3350

hi guys and welcome to techbase in this video I'm going to show you how to enable the new start menu feature from Windows 11 build 22635 3350 the latest build from the beta Channel while Microsoft in this build added a new St menu feature that basically will recommend certain apps in the recommended section of the start menu that you use frequently so in this video I'm going to show you how to enable this hidden feature that you can only encounter right now in the better channel so if you enjoy videos like these please don't forget to leave a like below and also subscribe to the techbase Channel with the notification Bell activated so that you miss any feature uploads like this one so let's begin with the video first of all you're going to have to set up Vive tool on your computer so you're going to have Vive tool in the article below make sure to get the latest version. zip after that you can open it up using file explorer inside file explorer click on extract all click on browse and make sure to extract this into a dedicated folder inside the C partition for example you can create a new folder called hidden features I'm going to create one right now select it select folder click on extract and this is how you set a Vive tool on your computer right now we can exit out from here and go and open up the CMD press the Windows key type in here CMD and then click on run as administrator on user account control of course click on yes here you're going to have to navigate to the location where we extracted five tools so in this case it will be CDC hyphen back slhn features press enter and we're in right now all we have to do is to type in the following command Vive tool / enable slid 484 55785 then press enter and you should receive the message successfully said feature configuration this ID and command was provided and discovered by Phantom ma 3 on Twitter we're going to have his Twitter Link in the pin comment below so you can follow him for more hidden features like this inside windows 11 in the windows Insider program and also the command will be provided in the article below if you just want to copy and paste it now we can exit out from the CMD make sure you restart your computer for the changes to take effect after the restart if you open up the start menu you're going to notice that in the recommended section you're going to have frequently used apps as recommended in my case I have Google Chrome because it's the browser that I nor normally use as my default browser and of course you can right click on the start menu click on start settings and click on more recommendations in order to see more recommendations and therefore you're going to be able to see more frequently used apps recommended in the start menu so I'm glad that Microsoft is trying to make the recommended section more relatable and useable because for me at least I'm not using the recommended section and usually in the start menu I go to start settings and just go to more pins or default but if Microsoft is starting to implement features like these inside the Shar menu maybe we could use the recommended section more and it would be nice if we get some additional settings that will help us maybe select which apps to be shown in the recommended section I think that would be great and hopefully Microsoft will listen to users because the recommended section was something that was quite the topic of a lot of discussions by users because it's really not a section that was really used from the beginning of Windows 11 so of course please let me know Below in the comments what you think about this new feature inside the recommended section of the Ser menu and of course don't forget to get Vive tool and also the command in this video from the article below in the video description so basically this was the quick video for today I hope you liked it if you did please don't forget to leave a like below and also subscribe to the take Bas Channel with notification Bell activated so that you won't miss any future outs like this one I wasman from Tech Bas until next time have a nice day
