if you've always struggled to maintain eyebrows i'm going to show you a simple three-point eyebrow mapping that'll take your eyebrow game to the next level whether you groom your own brows or just want to maintain your brows between your salon visits this is going to really help i can't wait to show you how i do it so without further delay let's begin first you'll need something to mark the three point i'm using a brow pencil here this is precisely my brow from benefit you can also use an eye pencil a marker what have you something that you can erase easily later this is how my eyebrows are looking right now because i groom them regularly but i let it grow out for the past couple weeks to demo it in this tutorial so when i come up close you'll see the excess hair growth around my brows the precisely my brow from benefit pencil has a spoolie brush in the back so i'm going to first use it to brush my brow hair downwards if you don't have a spoolie you can also use a regular hair brush or a comb that'll help to clearly see and mark on the upper side of the brows for the first point i'm going to glide the pencil against my nostril so it's going to be sticking to my nostril so i'm going to glide it upwards and align it to the inner corner of my eye i'm going to take it all the way up to my brows and mark the first point so that is going to be the point where my brows begin in the inner corner now for the arch i'm going to place the pencil at my nostril and align it with the center of my eye and i'm going to mark the point where my arch would be and for the third point again placing the pencil at my nostril i'm going to glide it to the outer corner of my eye leading all the way up to the brow and that is where my eyebrow will end i'm going to repeat the same on the other brow as well [Music] all i'm going to do now is join the three points and i'm going in the direction of my natural brow hair next i'm going to be using these tweezers that i've used for my life these are my mothers and they're over 40 years old and i still use them i'm going to link something very similar in the description box below so do check that out i'm going to start plucking the brow hair and i'm going to go up to the border that i just drew over my brows i love these tweezers because you get a good grip and you can pluck every single hair even if it's really fine i'm also going to plug between my brows again keeping everything within the borders if it's your first time doing it or if you're extremely sensitive to pain let me tell you it doesn't pain at all but if you're extremely sensitive to pain i would advise you to ice that part before you start plucking and after you pluck ice it again so it calms it down next using the spoolie i'm going to brush my brow hair upwards and i'm going to again mark below my brows going in the direction of my brows we've already mapped out the inner outer corners as well as the arch so this is going to be super simple and then i'm going to be tweezing all the brow hair below my brows as you can see it just comes so naturally to me because i've done this forever it doesn't hurt it doesn't pain my eyes don't water so it's just super simple once you get a hang of it it becomes super easy and if you do this on a regular basis and keep it groomed you don't even have to pluck that much hair as and when you see some extra hair growing you can pluck it out and your brows will always look grooved [Music] i'm just using a dry brush here to clean up my thick brows are extremely unruly sometimes because they grow out pretty long given my brow hair so i use the spoolie again to brush my brow hair upwards and using a small pair of scissors i just cut just the excess hair that comes out of my brows that i cannot really tame if your brows don't grow out that much you don't have to do this i just cut just a little bit because if you cut too much then they leave gaps between your brows so you don't want to cut too much either just a little extra now just by plucking not even filling it in you can see what a big difference it makes when you compare it to the other side now because i used a brow pencil to mark it's very easy to clean up i'm just using a dry q-tip to erase it and then again with the precisely my brow pencil i'm going to start filling in the top part of my brows i'm using the shade 4 and then i use a brow gel to brush my brow hair upwards and keep it in place today i'm using the kosa's air brow you can use any brow gel i try to use a transparent brow gel because i have such thick hair so i don't like anything that's tinted i like to make it look as natural as possible so that's why i'm using a clear brow gel but you're welcome to use tinted if you have thinner brows and then i fill in the lower part of my brows using the brow pencil i just fill in the sparse areas again because i like to maintain that very natural looking brow if you like thicker brows you can also use a brow pomade and here's one side completely groomed and filled as compared to the other side which was groomed a couple weeks ago you can see what a beautiful difference it makes it's not too much it's subtle but it does make a big difference i'm going to repeat the same on the other side as well we've already marked the three points so i'm going to join it and start grooming on the top portion of my brows now again i love these tweezers as opposed to the other ones that look like forceps because these have a better grip and they pull out every single hair with the other kind that looks like forceps it's very hard for me to reach out to especially finer hair this one pulls every single hair again if you don't prefer tweezing you can also wax so all you have to do is just use the normal wax that you use on your body just use it in small portions on top of your brows first and then pull the hair out and then you can brush your brow hair upwards instead of tweezing you can wax again for the brows specifically i prefer tweezing to waxing because you have more control sometimes if you don't apply the wax properly and if it bleeds and if it gets on the hair that you didn't mean to pull out you'll end up pulling it out and you'll have to wait till the hair grows back which will be a couple weeks or a month sometimes so tweezers definitely give you more control also again if you're just starting out make sure to eyes all around your brows that'll help with a little bit of numbing so it's easier to pull out the hair sometimes people even apply a little bit of translucent powder again it's just easier to pull out hair that way for me because i'm used to it i do this every week it just comes off so easy and i don't feel the pain but what i do is definitely ice it after i'm done it kind of calms down everything and i also end up applying a cold cream or a moisturizer after i'm done pulling the hair out that just comes down the skin around the brows and here it is my brows completely done and i do this every week to maintain it and if i see some hair growing out now and then i pull it out and that's how i do it i've never been to the salon in years i do everything myself and this is how it looks from far always looks neat and groomed and you can do it as well so let me know if you're going to try it and if you do please don't forget to tag me my socials are
