hello everyone today we'll be going through a concise guide on how to install mods in Blount's Tower Defense 6. firstly you'll need to search for btd6 mods on Google follow the link to the appropriate page we've also included this link in the description below for your convenience once you're there download the mod Helper and melon loader Now navigate to your steam Library find Bloons Tower Defense 6 right click on it and select properties in this menu you'll be able to directly access the games folder it's advisable to create a duplicate of the game for this modded instance to prevent any mishaps for easier access you can create a shortcut for the modded game and place it on your desktop next extract the melon loader zip file copy its contents and paste them into the modded instance of blinds Tower Defense 6. you'll need to launch the game once so that the melon loader can properly initialize its files foreign once done close the game and navigate back to its folder you'll notice there are now new folders including one labeled mods copy the downloaded mod helper file and place it into the mods folder and there you have it your mod setup is complete the next time you launch the game you might notice a slightly longer loading time now you'll be able to browse for mods and directly install them from within the game quite easily remember you must restart the game after downloading any mods for them to be effectively applied [Music] [Music] in my opinion some of the best mods can be found on a GitHub repository by Doom bubbles you can read about them there then search for and install them using the mod loader to verify the mods are working you can test them again for example as you can see here I've added a brand new monkey my game automatically exits when I lose around and I can adjust the time forward multiplier to my preference [Music] and that is all for this tutorial guys thanks for watching and don't forget to like comment and subscribe see ya
