How to Easily Add a Channel on a BTECH or BaoFeng Handheld Radio (without a PC)

hi i'm jonathan young kk for HOA and i'm here to walk you through the manual programming of the UV 82 HP manual programming of this radio is simple and only takes a few minutes this will also work for Albaugh fun and helps first set the radio to vfo mode the radio must be in vfo mode to program successfully on the UV 80 to do this by first powering the radio off then press and hold the menu button while powering the radio back on upon brewing this the radio will switch modes if your radio has a vfo memory button such as the UV five are simply press it to change between modes once you are in vfo mode select the upper display you must do all programming on the upper display to program successfully do this by pressing the exit AV button until the arrow is on the upper display next turn off dual walk by pressing menu seven menu select off menu again then exit you can turn this function back on after programming is complete you will need a clean channel to program successfully delete any previously saved data in your desired channel by pressing menu 28 menu enter the desired channel number menu again then exit next to select your transmit CT CSS or dcs press menu 13 or CT CSS or 12 for dcs menu again select your desired CT CSS or dcs tone menu again then exit now we will input our frequencies first input your receive frequency on the upper display remember that you only use the upper display in programming once you have your frequency entered press menu 27 menu again enter your desired channel number menu again then exit next while staying on the upper display enter your transmit frequency press menu 27 menu again enter your desired channel again menu once more then exit for simplex operation you do not need to enter a transmit frequency the radio will use the receive frequency as the transmit frequency switch back to memory mode by turning the radio off press and hold the menu button while powering the radio back on then into your desired Channel and that's it your radio is programmed and ready to use a couple of things to remember when programming a channel menu 25 shift direction and menu 26 offset are not used when programming your radio with this method these can be set to OFF and 0 respectively and you can still successfully program your radio if you have your radio program and are not receiving audio make sure you'll receive VCS menu 10 or receive CP CSS menu 11 are on the correct settings or set them to off i'm jonathon 73
