hey everyone welcome back to my channel I am so excited for today's video because it is a workwear video so I have so many different work outfits to share with you in today's video it's probably going to be one of my bigger Tryon hauls but I am just so excited to bring you more work we're in 2020 that was by far one of my biggest requests so my game plan for this year is to share at least one work outfit so one of my style resolutions for this year was to just change up my accessories and add in more kind of jewelry pieces and things like that because I have definitely been in so sort of a style rut when it comes to my accessories I've worn the same pearls like every single day for years the same bracelets if anything at all I honestly sometimes never even wear jewelry so that was one of my resolutions to kind of mix it up this year so I just wanted to share that in case you are also in a sale rut just change up one thing whether it's okay this week I'm not gonna wear the same earrings or this week I am going to wear my favorite top a different way that I haven't already just wanted to kind of share that little tip so I'll be showing more accessories and my videos from here on out I feel like we are starting off with one of my favorite outfits it's hard to say because this is the first one I put together but I absolutely love this look so this top is from Nordstrom I'm obsessed with everything that Rachel Parcells puts out with her Nordstrom collection and this is no exception this is probably one of my favorite pieces honestly it is just cut really well and made very well and of course I love all the girly details so it has a ruffle neckline it has two buttons in the back that are pearls so I just really appreciate and always look for those little details because I feel like they just elevate your look when they're you know instead of a standard button having that pearl it's just something that I appreciate I also love all the ruffle details this is a size fall and it fits perfect in the shoulders and I also really appreciate that this top has a liner underneath starting from here so you don't have to wear a tank top I personally have one under just because I wear one typically because I'm always cold so I will also include that in the links if you're looking for like a new tank top but you don't have to wear one with this because it does have that liner and it's very well made it's not like a cheap annoying liner and then this is a chiffon material but it is thick enough where I feel like it's still appropriate for work sometimes when tops are just a little too sheer through here I just don't wear them for one because you'll see the bra strap or I just feel like it's not appropriate so this one is still thick enough to where it works the sleeves are slightly more sheer like I can just kind of see the outline of my arm and then I love the wrist detail you can pull this up if you want like kind of 3/4 or you can let it go all the way down I just love the draping of the fabric so I tucked mine in here just because I felt like overall it gave me a better shape these are my favorites thanks perfect black pants I think they're called I featured them in a spanks video if you haven't seen that I shared a lot of really good work outfits and that video as well so I'll link it for you to watch after this one but these are by far the most comfortable work pants that I am maybe TMI but you girls can relate so I wore these yesterday to work because I started my period and I just did not want I didn't even want to wear pants but I reached for these because I knew that they would be the most comfortable they just have like a stretchy waistband and I do feel like overall I'm comfortable tucking a shirt in as long as I cover that very top waistband you don't want to wear something that's like fitted because I feel like then it will it won't elevate or do anything for your look but the fact that I can hide that waistband I feel completely comfortable in these work pants and then the back has like that pocket that dressier pocket detail and then I also love the detail at the ankle it just makes them a little dressier I am wearing a medium in these pants by the way just so they're not skin tight and they are extremely comfortable like I said 100 times I have on this Tory Burch taupe bag I think this is a great bag for the price and you can wear it crossbody this is the bigger size between the two which is still not super large by any means I think it's a great size but they do also make it in a smaller size as well and I do have a video on my Instagram and my blog as well that shows you guys a little more about this and what I keep inside for my accessories I have on these rose gold hoops so the thicker hoops are definitely on trend there were trendy last year they're still trendy this year so I picked these up while they were on sale so I'm not sure how long they're gonna be available but they're thicker but they're not heavy that's kind of my biggest issue with earrings they're not comfortable or if I fear that they're gonna rip my ear hole out I don't wear them and that's why I was just wearing pearls for years and years and one thing I did not even realize these had are this really cute crystal on the end or like faux diamond I just realized last night that they had that so I thought that was a cute addition you don't necessarily see it but you know it's there for my accessories I have on this Victoria Emerson watch this one is just very comfortable and flat so it doesn't get in the way when I am working on patients and things like that I do also wear an Apple watch at times but honestly I've been reaching for this one a lot more than the Apple watch in general and then I have on this David Yurman bracelet which goes with everything it's very classic and comfortable and I just love the look of the two together and I like a mixing metals you can see that that bracelet has the gold and silver and then I threw in the rose gold and also the rose gold earrings Wow my camera did a good job focusing that time normally it takes like five minutes so yeah I personally am a big fan of mixing metals and then for my shoes these are like a Chanel dupe there are a couple other options if you want this look for less I would love to have the Chanel options one day but I just don't need them because I can wear these and get that same look I've also seen some from j.crew Factory and just a couple other versions so I'll go ahead and link some so you can find one in your price point but these are very comfortable they are like a low heel I have honestly worn these to work as a therapist yeah they're just a very low blocked heel and I just love that cap toe look I feel like it's very classy so with this next outfit I was kind of trying to go through all of my closets in the house and find a black cardigan the one that I have is like from Walmart from last year and it's just looking a little too rough and the Fabri shaver hasn't brought it back to life so I actually wrote down that I need a black cardigan and then also a darker Brown cardigan because I feel like I would prefer that over this creamy yellow type of cardigan I feel like this works but it would look a little more chic if I kept it more neutral toned so I wrote that down so I just wanted to let you guys know if you're getting ready and you're like oh dang I need this write it down or just like jot a note to yourself in your phone that way you can remember what holes you need to fill in your wardrobe so that when you do have that money to spend on your wardrobe you can just open that list up and know exactly where you need to fill first instead of buying things that you don't need so this is the cardigan that I came up with based on what I had in my wardrobe but I also feel like a black blazer or a neutral blazer would also really work well if you do need to be a little dressier if you like wearing Blazers to work you could throw that over instead of this cardigan as well this cardigan is from good-night macaron it is very soft it's like a good travel piece because it's long you throw on your leggings it's comfortable kind of like a blanket style that you can stay warm in or have them win this to work as well so this top does have a wider shoulder so if you can get away with wearing that too in the summertime without anything I personally would always just wear something over it just because I don't like to show my arms but I just wanted to show you guys the thickness there it is a little bit wider and I feel like it also fits a little wider so if you do have broad shoulders this is a good option for you if you have very very narrow shoulders this may just look a little too wide on you it does have a little bit of a deeper V I can barely see my tank top kind of poking through so I could just pull that down a little bit just to be safe my necklace is one of my favorite necklaces I bought this last month it was like kind of hard to find and then I just restocked and I also got one for one of my best friends as well because she loves hearts so I think it's a really cute piece it's the Jersey which is my absolute favorite and the camera can't even do it justice because it's just such a pretty stone that's by far my favorite type of Kendra Scott piece is the drusy and look how that gold just hits the light it is so cute I have this version as well this one is very very old you can see I kind of need to revive this chain but I have had this one for years and it still looks really pretty so by far that's my favorite and this top is like a neutral leopard print has this really cute tie waist which you can adjust but it's meant to overall be kind of drapey and a little baggy and then it has a really cute kind of peplum top at the waist it's very comfortable these are the same black work pants I don't have as many pants to show but I wanted to style them a couple of different ways and then for shoes I just got these Sam Edelman loafers in so I am a big fan of some Sam Edelman shoes I think they are very comfortable for the price point you can kind of get the look for less from their shoes so the last pair I shared was like a Chanel inspired these are kind of like a Gucci spired looking loafer but I love the neutral color these come in a ton of colors and they're very very comfortable I feel like there's not a lot of break in with these they do run true to size I got an 8 and I do have plenty of room at the toe I personally like to have extra room in my work shoes because I am on my feet all day your feet swell up so you definitely don't want your shoes to be tight in the morning because you will be very uncomfortable towards the end of the day so I feel like these are overall a great fit so if you like to size up in your work shoes just get your normal size so I absolutely love this pairing it's perfect for this time of year but I would totally wear this year-round just because I love like the girly details to it but it's especially appropriate for Valentine's Day so this top is from Loft and I did size down to an extra small which I'm very glad because I feel like the small would've hung on my underarms a little too much so I would say you're probably safe sizing down with this piece still flowy I also do have a tank top underneath just because this is it's not like super sheer but it is kind of a thinner white color so I feel like you're better off putting that tank top underneath I love the ruffle at the neck and then I'll show you guys it has a really cute bow tie detail on the back this blazer I love the color it's blush but I feel like it's still a very versatile piece in your wardrobe I am wearing a small and I almost wonder if I need an extra small but I kind of like the slight oversized to fit I don't like feeling restricted and that's probably one of the reasons why I don't wear Blazers very much because I like them to fit well but at the same time I want to be able to raise my arms so I feel like this is a really good in-between fit where I can button it easily there is still plenty of room so I did fold the side just so you can see how that would look and then this side I kept longer the sleeves are definitely a little bit longer which overall is better because if you're tall it will work for you but if you're petite like for me I probably would get Nordstrom to hem this Blazers just so it fit perfect and if you didn't know Nordstrom does offer alterations and house and if you are a member of the noir D Club they do give you credit for that so I would definitely take advantage of that every single year and then for earrings I have on these from Kendra Scott one of these a lot they are extremely comfortable because they're pretty much featherweight feather-light later I don't know what they call it but since there's nothing in the center they're just a very lightweight easy earring that goes with everything but it just adds a little bit of sparkle I have this same as thanks work pants on and then these shoes I feel like tie the outfit together perfectly since it's a little mix of that blush and black tone something I want to mention too about the shoes they come in both a ballet pink I think and or blush and then a beige so I went with the blush obviously I like blush better but at the same time I have more Pink's in my skin tone so I feel like it blends on my feet a lot more like a nude would but if you have more yellows in your skintone they do also make up beige so I would probably go for which one based on your undertone or whichever one you like better obviously it doesn't matter at the end of the day but I do have the blush and I feel like I just love how it ties everything together alright so I switched up my pants and I absolutely love this outfit I think it looks so put together but you guys would be shocked at how comfortable all of these pieces are so starting with the pants I have mentioned these pants before I think at my loft my last loft Ryan Hall which a lot of my loft Tryon halls do feature work outfit so again if you're just looking for more inspiration I will link that video down below as well but these pants are a little bit different than what I typically wear for work pants but I love that my friend actually recommended these to me she works in like corporate America and these are her absolute favorite work pants and I can see why because they are extremely comfortable they're like a lightweight material they're still very flattering but they're also a little baggy r2 so I think it's just a really great combination the waistband is stretchy I think it works best if you wear it high and then probably tuck in your piece just to keep your figure since this is a little more pleated and baggy in the hips as it's and then the back is also very flattering sometimes with like paper bag pants or things like that the back can look like a saggy butt and these do not do that see you no worries there they hit just above my ankle I'm 5 5 and they do kind of taper in a little bit more as they go down I brought in the black and camel color with these leopard pumps you could also do a leopard loafer if you don't like wearing heels I do overall like the look of these pants with heels but I will probably wear them with I mean I will definitely wear them as flats because I don't wear heels to work these shoes are from Cole Haan I'm not sure they're still available they are extremely comfortable they have lots of padding they have traction on the bottom so you don't have to worry about slipping so a lot of really good like construction went into these shoes and that's definitely one of the standouts with it when it comes to anything from Cole Haan as they just have really good quality pieces as far as this sweater this is actually a cashmere sweater and it is extremely soft and definitely a keeper I just like because most of my sweaters are like casual sweaters I don't have a ton of nice or dressier work-appropriate sweaters so this is one of the first few and my wardrobe so I definitely need to hang on to this so I'll be styling it a few different ways for you guys I do like that this sweater has a little bit of a slit at the wrist I just feel like that's a nice detail change and it has a really good fit overall I like the fit it's fitted but not super tight and then I absolutely love how this heart necklace is just kind of peeking through I just adore it I love the little heart detail and then I kept on the same earrings from the last outfit just because they're a little dressier with the sparkle that it adds and I feel like this look in general is a little dressier but if you wanted to dress it down switch out for flats and then you could do like a more casual earring let's see could do like these would be cool with it or even the gold rose gold hoops I mean honestly all my the these would totally work as well I've had these for like probably close to six years so I brought back the pink blazer from earlier and then I tucked in this kind of blushy snake print top this is similar to that other leopard one because it has the tank top but this one is significantly wider than that one it almost kind of has a little bit of a cap sleeve on me but it's also a medium so that could be why it just is spitting a little bigger I'll show you guys how this top looks a little bit more when I untuck it because it has a really cute peplum detail but for these pants I feel like it's the most flattering to tuck your tops in just because it just becomes a lot of material around your hips if not so these are the Leath pants from the last look and then I paired it with some blush heels so this is a little more dressy than I typically wear for work but I just wanted to have some variety to these outfits and then I did switch out my earrings for these these do I kind of previewed them a little earlier these had the drusy stone and then they're a hoop but they are a stud on the ear so they don't spin and rotate or anything they have one that's very similar that has the drusy on the bottom and the hook at the top so those are more like one that would spend but these just kind of stay in place which I like also I got these for my birthday so I don't know if you guys know this but during the month of your birthday you can actually get one piece for 50% off at Kendra Scott so definitely take advantage of that you can even use it during like your boyfriend's birthday or your husband's birthday as long as they're with you you can take advantage of whoever's birthday it is they just need an ID or you can get 25% off a home piece as well but I would personally take advantage of the jewelry because that's a huge discount so here's that top untuck just so you can see the overall fit of it has a cute little waist cinching detail then this is kind of like a tulip style peplum detail across the hips so this top you just slide it over and then it has a zipper on the side right here just FYI which is definitely needed because this is so nin so it doesn't actually stretch or anything I do have the medium on and it's just too big but I do appreciate that it has a button here as well you can undo that if you like but I always prefer to have a button just because I don't have anything to keep that together so here's something a little more casual definitely something that I would wear to work I just got these new loafers in I actually wear them to work yesterday and I didn't have any issues in them they're very comfortable I love a good like loafer style shoe when it comes to work wear these have a cute little bow detail so I'm excited about these they're under 100 bucks I think they also come in multiple colors as well and they do run true to size I got my normal size 8 in them and also go ahead and link my favorite no-show socks they're very soft and comfortable have a couple of different pairs that could have some cheaper pairs from Amazon some cheaper pairs from Target and the loft ones are by far my favorite because they're very soft and comfortable I have on the same slouchy pants just so you guys can see how they work with flats and then this is another really cute top for right now it has like the heart details but it's very very subtle so you can't really tell from far away but up close it just has that cute little heart detail and then it also has like slightly bubbled sleeve really not anything too much but this has definitely been a trend that will see this year as far as more statement sleeves and in this bubbled sleeve I don't know what it's technically called but I think it's a cute detail and I also like that the sweater has some good length to it so I'll show you guys what it looks like untucked just so you can get an idea but I got my normal size small it's also very soft and not itchy so I do also have a new affordable bag to share with you guys if you aren't following over on Instagram I typically share like a Q&A technically on Fridays every Friday I do like what's called 5:00 on Friday and I just pick five of the questions that you guys submitted to just kind of chitchat or answer any of like your style questions so one of y'all wanted to know like affordable bags so this is one of them that I linked so I wanted to go ahead order it just so you can see it in person so I feel like this bag is very kind of similar to like a Chloe vibe I'll link the one that I'm thinking of not size wise but just like with this roping it just reminds me of Chloe this is the blush color and then I do like the inside because it's like a leopard print and this is my favorite type of animal print so I just think that's fun a couple things I want to point out with the bag I feel like it definitely needs a little bit of a break-in period almost because it's just like the handles are just kind of you know it's currently looking like this I feel like I am probably gonna hang it with a little bit of weight in it just to kind of help shape the straps and then it also looks better with stuff in it because it's kind of laying a little flat so once I put my stuff in here I liked the look of it a little bit better just FYI but it's a really good size so this definitely fits my laptop I also ordered the crossbody it just for whatever reason didn't come at the same time so I'll show you guys once I get that in but it's the exact same shape it's just smaller but it's still a really good size overall so depending on what you're looking for I feel like this one is better for work the other one will be better for like weekend or if you're looking for a crossbody so I obviously need to adjust the strap or whatever but it does go pretty long so you can even wear this one crossbody actually so it'd be nice for traveling or things like then as I put this outfit on I had an instant mood boost like I am ready to tackle my day I feel like such a girl boss in this outfit so these pink pants are such a good fit but you definitely want to size up I am wearing a six and they fit more like a four almost even maybe a two because I normally as far as like where it's hitting me on my waist I'm normally a 2 right here they fit so well through the hip so and just give you such a good shape so I am 5 5 I paired it with these kind of stiletto heels from Jimmy Choo and I love where they hit so I don't have to hem them I would definitely wear them with a heel just to give you that length this top they said it was a sweater it doesn't necessarily feel like a typical sweater I guess it is technically a sweater but it's a little bit thicker and a stretchy kind of succulent fabric I love the bell sleeve and then I also love how fitted the sleeve is you definitely want to size up in this I'm wearing a medium I think it's supposed to fit you like skin-tight it tucks into tops really well but the one thing that I would change about it is the length so it is very long so that made tucking it into these fitted pants a little more challenging so that's the one thing I would change about it but I do like the overall fit of it because it's just a really nice structured top and it's a bright white so it really pops I kept on this heart necklace the whole time which I didn't intend to but I just loved the sweet little little heart detail and I switched off my earrings for these from Lisi larch they had like a cotton candy pink color so I liked how tight on the girly feel of this look kept on the same bracelet back to the Tauri bag so this is of course my favorite outfit I don't have anywhere to wear it to but I would love to wear it somewhere so I almost wasn't going to show this outfit but I still thought I would share because you get the right size then it's a super cute outfit but I definitely need a size 6 in these pants these are from H&M my normal size is a six but they did not have any more and I still loved the pattern because they are a plaid but they have a pink plaid so I just was hopeful that they would work but I kind of knew they wouldn't so they run true to size they're just a little too snug in the booty for me and then the spouse is from loft which is my go-to place for work wear because you can get such great deals and they have good sales I love this color I also love the double pocket I just liked the overall symmetry of the shirt I guess the sleeves are a little puffier at the end I'm wearing my normal size small and it is a little on the sheer side I don't have a tank top on underneath so that's the neckline you can kind of just leave it be you can you know button it up all the way if you prefer I like to show my cute little heart necklace that I'm obsessed with clearly but it's just a comfy we're all fit and it's not too long has a little slit on the side the pants are cute I just need the size up and then these mini shoes are actually like one of my these are my favorite like go to work flats they're so comfortable they do fold up for travel and you don't even have to break these in if you have had a bad experience with Tory Burch flats in the past and you've tried the Rivas these don't even compare because these are so much more comfortable than Rivas I'm not sure if the gold is available in these shoes I'm actually like I wrote it down that I need to buy another neutral shade this year probably during the next either Tory Burch sale or shopbop sale I'm normally not patient when it comes to like buying things but when it comes to like the Tory Burch or like things that are more expensive I'll just be patient and wait for a good sale so I'll let you know when they do go on sale again but they are so comfortable one of my most worn work shoes for sure I kept on the same blouse just because I wanted to see the see-through situation in this pant because it's a little darker is definitely more noticeable so just to point out how sheer the top is again just wear a tank top underneath I do anyway because it is way too cold in my office to not wear that layering piece especially with these Mar silky like chiffon type tops so this is a pretty standard work outfit for me I have almost every single color of these lost work pants I get them from the outlet I get them from the store like I just love the fit and I just like the variety of colors so I'm not sure if the gray is currently available but they typically cycle it in because it's a good neutral they run true to size I wear a 4 so they are a mid-rise pant and I just love the fit through the legs because they fit well but they're not like skin-tight and most work pants on me I find I have a hard time finding some that aren't overly baggy through the knee so I just feel like these have a relatively great fit all the way through my leg and then I'm so excited these loafers are finally back in stock at Walmart these are 15 bucks you guys and they are like a dupe for Steve Madden I personally sized up to an 8 and a half you can see I have extra room and my foot when I slide it all the way up and this is all so my smaller foot so this is on my bigger foot so lengthwise they do run true-to-size but I personally just found the half size up more comfortable because they're $15 shoes so the heel is a little bit stiffer and I just know if I had had the 8 on it probably would have rubbed my heel like a blister on my heel so so personally I would recommend you guys to size up a half size just because I personally found them more comfortable that way but some people like to get their normal size so if you're unsure maybe buy both and return the one that you don't let those are all the work outfits that I have to share with you in today's video but there's definitely more to come so if you haven't already subscribed I
