hey our friends here and draw a pirate yeah we're gonna draw Jack Sparrow we hope you're gonna follow along you need your drawing supplies we're using markers but you can use whatever you have at home or in the classroom you also need some paper and someone to go with yeah you ready to start yes because we're using markers to draw and color with we're also using marker paper to draw on this helps protect our table and also keep our markers lasting longer okay let's start by drawing Jack Sparrow's nose we're going to draw in the middle of our paper we're going to draw a little towards the top so that we have room for his body below let's draw a little curve like that almost looks like a smile a little smile then we're going to draw the eyes let's draw a Circle this size on the left and the same size circle on the right yeah then let's draw a smaller Circle in the top left of each eye or an oval and this is for the Highlight we're going to color in the big circle but leave that little circle white this part will speed up so remember if you need extra time during any part of the lesson you can always pause the video pause the video now let's draw his mouth and we could draw it smiling you're gonna also draw open and I think I'm going to draw mine open smiling but open yeah and then let's draw his mustache I'm going to draw two lines right here underneath his nose and above his mouth and then we're going to draw his mustache curving around his smile and then we're going to do the same thing on the other side this is the bottom of his mustache and then we're going to draw the top we're going to draw another curve that comes out to a point on each side let's start there and then curve down and then let's also color these two shapes in then we could also if you want you could connect the very top but leave a little space at the bottom or leave the space on all the way up okay now let's draw the bottom of he has a little goatee like me we're going to draw a little line under the smile and then we're going to draw the letter V underneath that yes and then we're going to color that upside down triangle in it's already starting to look like him huh yeah okay now let's draw the shape of his face we're going to start here next to his eye and we're going to draw a letter U that comes under like this across and then we're going to come back next to the other eye and we want this side of his head to be right above each eye so you can extend each side so that it lines up with the top of his eyes then let's finish his beard underneath his chin we're going to draw the letter W we're going to come down up and then back down and back up he's got him split because he has braids two braids for his beard yeah and then let's color in those shapes his beard is a little darker so we'll color it in black but we're going to color his hair brown let's draw the braids coming down we could draw a little U shape right here down and back up we could also draw a little bead at the end of each side and then if you want you could add a little extra part of his beard coming down further I like his beard yeah two braids then let's draw the headband going across his eyes so we're going to go past the side of his head and I'm turning my paper sideways so it's a little easier to see but we're going to draw a curve that comes across and connects on both sides but goes past yeah and then let's draw the side of his headband coming up on each side then let's connect the top of his headband or the bandana and then we can draw the top of his hair I'm going to draw a u shape an upside down U shape that comes up like this and you could draw it kind of wobbly since this is his hair coming across let's also draw some beads coming down from his headband I'm going to draw them right here so I'm drawing little U shapes or ovals coming down his headband or in front of it and then I also think he has this really long piece of bone maybe we're gonna draw it coming down diagonally and then up and we'll just connect it right here to the top of his headband we could also go a little past if we want like a little curve there yeah okay and also we could draw some of his braids coming down in front of his face let's draw one that comes down like this and then we're going to curve back up oh I'm gonna draw another one right next to it too I'm going to come down like this and maybe a little further and then back up now it's really starting to look like Jack let's change a little over here on this hair I'm going to draw some hair sticking out of this side yeah and then we can draw more of his braids coming down further he has a lot of Breads in his hair we're gonna draw one coming down and then we could drop maybe another one coming down a little further and also maybe this braid right here is actually a bunch of beads so we could draw lines going all the way up yeah that looks really cool we're gonna add more hair a little later let's switch to drawing his body we're gonna draw two lines coming down on each side of his beard we'll draw one here and one over here on this side then let's draw two lines going across this way it kind of looks like we're drawing the letter H this is for his belt we could also draw a little Buckle in the middle let's draw a big letter V that comes down in between his beard and that's his shirt and then we has an outside shirt we could draw two lines coming down the side and we're gonna imagine those going underneath the belt and coming down passed on each side so that same line that comes down further and then down here at the bottom let's connect those two lines together and it has a little sash or some kind of bandana that's sticking out or tucked into his belt let's draw a little shape here on the right side and then we'll imagine it going behind the belt also and coming down here that could also be a gun in his belt okay let's keep going we're going to draw his legs next we're going to draw an upside down V right here this is for the inside of his legs and then we're going to draw the outside of his legs right here coming down further to match on each side now let's draw his toes we'll start here draw a curve that comes out and down and then let's draw his toes on the other side going the other direction but matching and then let's draw the rest of his boot we're going to draw it going across and up so we'll draw the bottom of his Boot and then we'll connect up to the middle of his leg and I will draw the bottom of the other boot coming across and connecting up also yeah let's draw the top of his boots we're going to draw two lines right here on his leg and also on the other leg he's looking really cool except we're missing two things on each side his arms yeah his arms and let's draw puffy sleeves we're gonna start here on his shoulder and we're gonna curve out like this and then back in and we'll do the same thing on the other side we'll draw a really puffy pirate sleeves and then we're gonna draw the cuff at the bottom of the sleeve it kind of looks like his hands are behind his uh body oh yeah it does and then we'll draw that cuff over here also and then his hand will keep really simple we're gonna connect the cuff into we'll just draw a curve into his legs on each side and then we can also add a really small curve for his thumb yeah now we need to add even more hair let's draw some wavy lines right here coming down I'm going to draw a wave line over here on this side too and then oh let's add even a couple more wavy lines and we could also draw another braid maybe on each side and then right here at the bottom of those wavy lines we can connect them into each other so I'm going to draw another like I'll draw a little diagonal line to connect on each side and then we'll connect over here too we did it I said we finished drawing Jack Sparrow except we still need to do one more thing color it yeah this is my favorite part let's pick out the colors we're using our art for kids Hub alcohol-based markers if you have the same set we picked out a lot of colors and you can follow along with us and use the same numbers we have 103 Brown 97 is kind of a lighter brown a peach color we'll use that for the skin 103s for the hair the brown and then we have 23 orange 46 Green 82 purple for his clothes and the beads and also 15 red for the bandana let's start by drawing or coloring his hair with 103 Brown also remember you don't have to use the same markers if you have a different brand that works great you could also use something completely different like colored pencils let's start by coloring in his hair we're using 103 Brown and we're going to color in the top of his hair and also his braids the longer part of his hair but we're not going to color this braid right here that actually has all of the beads this part will fast forward so remember to pause the video and take extra time to color in your drawings we're also coloring his boots and another thing you could do with the markers you can let the layer dry the first layer and then you can add a second layer with the same color on top of it to make the brown darker and I think his hair is a little bit darker than this color so I thought it would be fun to add another layer especially where there's Shadow or darker parts in his hair like hair and also on the other side let's also color in a few of the beads on his braids with the brown and then let's switch to our red marker and we can color in his headband again this is number 15 red in our Marker set I'm also going to add a few red beads next let's switch to 97 this is a light brown and or kind of a peach color we're going to use this for his face and also his hands also don't forget to color his chest and finish off with his hands okay now let's also switch to our purple we're gonna color his clothes I'm going to color here straight down and then also blow the belt oh we could also color the belt Brown I'm going to switch back to 103 for that for his belt but this is 82 purple for this little jacket that he has on the outside oh we also need blue for his pants I'm going to add another layer of this purple on top to make it even darker and then also switch back to that 103 for his belt we picked out a new color 62 this is a blue color for his pants let's also use this blue color for some of the beads in his hair and then uh I'm gonna switch to Green I'm not sure if he has green beads but I'm going to use that for the top and then also this orange color for the bottom kind of looks Brown too and then let's switch to red one more time and add little Stripes whoops we're going to add a little stripe down this piece of cloth in his belt and this next part you could leave off but I'm using a white colored pencil to add a little more highlight or make the highlights bigger in his eyes if you want to you can add that oh and also if you want you could add a smaller little highlight next to it that's why I like using the white prismacolor colored pencil you can add the highlights back on top of the marker and then I have also a blue a light blue that you could add another highlight so we have three highlights in Reflections in our eyes so we've got the big one small one and then we also got this blue one that's down at the bottom maybe this is the ocean reflecting into his eyes it's kind of cool huh we did it we finished drawing and coloring Jack Sparrow he turned out so cool I especially love your drawing thank you yeah you can pause the video right now to add even more things to your drawing oh what could they draw a background oh yeah but specifically what could they draw they could draw them on a boat oh yes on the Black Pearl yeah or like stranded at CM yeah you could draw them on an island all by himself you could also draw oh he's missing his hat you can add a hat you could even draw different clothes on him you could also even draw a treasure or even other Pirates chasing after him yeah we will be a lot of fun drawing Jack Sparrow we do we hope you had a lot of fun and we'll see you later our friends goodbye [Music]
