here friends we're gonna draw hello kitty all right little girl you got your marker yes we hope you guys are gonna follow along with us you're excited to draw hello kitty we've drawn hello kitty before but it was a long time ago we thought it would be fun to draw again for this art project we need something to draw with and some paper we're using sharpies you don't have to if you don't want to you could use a pencil or you could use crayons if you want we're also gonna use two colored pencils we're gonna use a pink for her clothes and her bow and we're also gonna use yellow for her name for her nose yes so let's move that off to the side and we're gonna use our markers first i really like your fingernails sure or friends this is so pretty they're pink like hello kitty yes yes all right first step we're gonna draw her bow okay that's the very first thing we're going to draw a little circle right here on the side of our paper so over like right about here a little circle that's the middle of her bow then we're going to draw a big u shape that comes out and around and connects back into the circle good and we're going to do another one on the other side squeaky markers there's her bow oh there's two more lines let's do a little u or c shape inside and then one on the other side too you already knew that now we're going to draw her ear and it's just a little a shape over her bow so start there come over here and then back down good now we're going to draw the top of her head it's just a little line that comes out from her bow good okay let's draw her other ear next and it's going to be the same shape over here on this side so we're going to drop up and we want to go up to the same height and then back down so come up we'll start there come up to about there and then come back down good i like how pointy your ears are they're not pony anymore next we're going to draw her face and it's going to be a big u-shape and it starts right here inside her ear comes around comes down underneath her jaw oh i'm getting a little wobbly and we're going to come back up into her bow i got a little wobbly i'll smooth that out in a second we're going to start right there come around and then connect into this side so you want a big almost a circle it's almost a circle shape okay okay that's more of a square but that's okay keep going no it's good it's good it's good it's good i like it and then we start right here let's make a you can make another square kind of come up like this so there's a little corner right here too okay good and then connect in oh i like it that is a good shape i like it now it's okay if it doesn't look perfect right yes because what's the most important thing to have fun yes to have fun and how old are you i'm seven you're seven years old and you're doing a great job and it's also important to remember to practice right so after we do this lesson we could draw her again and practice and i promise the second time we draw her will turn out even better than the first time now let's draw her nose it's right in the middle of her face but towards the bottom and it's an oval shape okay good and then we're going to draw her eyes and they're oval shapes too but they're going up and down this one's going left and right so let's draw up and down draw it up and down like that good and then let's color that in then we're going to draw another one on the other side the same size as this one and then color that oval in two okay now it doesn't quite look like hello kitty because we're missing something on her face yes whiskers yes whiskers let's draw three lines so let's draw one two three three good and then three on this side one two three now it looks like hello kitty should we draw her body next yes okay we're gonna draw two lines one for each side of her body we're going to start right under her eye and we're going to curve out okay so i'm going to start right here and then curve out now we're going to draw that same line on the other side start right under her eye and then curve out good now we want those to come down to the same length and then we're going to connect the bottom so we're going to connect it straight across and that's for her dress her swimsuit or whatever she's wearing now let's draw her legs right here and right below her nose we're going to draw a little line that comes down not too long so let's come right under her nose we're gonna draw in between her legs right here good let's draw a little bit longer let's finish her feet and her legs we're going to start right here come over and then back up it's kind of like a u a u shapes start right here come back and back up good now let's try the other side do the same line comes over connects back into the middle now let's draw her neck we're going to draw a little u-shape under her nose now let's draw her arms and draw a little j shape or a hook that comes out back around okay yes all good and then we can draw a little line on her arm and then let's draw the same arm on this side and then that last little line on her wrist good job you did it give me five did you have fun yes good all right now we need to color her so she looks even cuter we're gonna use our yellow and our pink and it's really easy we're just gonna color her her swimming suit pink and her nose yellow and her bow pink you ready to fast forward yes let's do it right now how old are you again seven seven years old you did awesome on drawing hello kitty heads you can be very proud remember it's not important that your drawings look exactly like ours most important thing is to have fun and i promise if you practice the second time you draw hello kitty will turn out better than the first time we'll see you later our friends goodbye you
