How To Do A Galaxy Pour In Epoxy Resin | Resin Art | Resin Pouring

well hello everybody it's Doris @df designs and it's resin night I'm waiting for it to catch up come on any day now YouTube okay there we go now it catches up oh I don't know what I'm gonna do with that YouTube sometimes it can be the bane of my existence okay I don't know who's here so hello to whoever's here say hi in the chat okay well I'm gonna start um I wanted to do a galaxy pore it's not going to take much resin well there's everybody hello Elizabeth hello and in hello Sally I wanted to do a galaxy pour because I'm gonna be live on a channel next month don't worry I'll put the put the link in my community tab and I wanted to do a galaxy pore over there but I've never really done one so I wanted to kind of practice on these little ones so first I wanted to show you how I did the stars shoot I almost dropped my brush okay this is just some white paint it's got slow troll in it but it you know it's it's still thick enough for what I'm doing okay I just put a little blob on the plate and then I'm gonna dip my paintbrush in there and do the little finger flicking and I got two of them I'm gonna do I've already done this one because the two that I'm gonna do have to dry so and I'm gonna use this hand because I don't want to get paint on this glove you just dab a little paint on it and you do eat a little finger flicking [Music] come on I'm paying my finger oh hello Carol okay I am having a very very hard time getting any good flicks with my blood finger earlier I get it with a plain finger but hey it's just the background okay I'm gonna let that one dry let me do the other one real quick yes Carol I am doing good and I hope you're doing good too and you got to be careful when you're flicking it because I'm flicking the paint here that got all the way over on this one Oh No come on there we go I'm just doing my little stars in the background I could also try this too ah there we go that gives me more stars okay let me bring this other one back real quick just to add a few more stars to it because these are going to dry while I'm putting resin on the other ones [Music] there we go I got stars yay okay now I need a paper towel to wipe the paint off oh thank you so much kill yes I had a blast with her um if you go over to her Channel and she's got um she's got um Arta up she's got a UH sir Saturday night shenanigans I was with her okay those are gonna those are gonna dry if they'll stand up and this is the one I did earlier that is dry hygiene Abena how you doing honey it's good to see on my squad here now I don't know how many I'm gonna do so I'm only gonna mix two ounces so it's not gonna be a lot of resin but does it take a lot of resin for these little guys oh that's already an ounce huh and I do not know where my mods are at I am missing my mods oh well they'll show up they'll show up just don't get rowdy in the crowd okay don't get rowdy I don't have any mods right now I'm sure that my regular is if I get any trolls they can boo them out okay now I'm gonna do an ounce of this now I want this oh yeah has been awhile and we missed you you must be sweltering over there okay I got two ounces in here one ounce of resin one ounce of hardener let me move this over just a little bit yeah you got to be sweltering there and we are here we had a thunderstorm warning it looks a little dark outside but I was watching the thing and it said that on our County the thunderstorm warning only went till 6:00 o'clock which it was six o'clock when I went live so I don't think I'm gonna lose my power but if I suddenly disappear that means I lost my power but everybody knows what when you live when you got humidity and you and you got high heat that's when you get your thunderstorms but it's so thankful that it cools off oh well I have to go outside at least a couple of times a day to go have a cigarette yes I'm a bad girl I smoke but I don't smoke that much okay I'm watching the clock yes I got my a/c on and I got a fan on that was supposed to be pointing right at me there we go because these lights are hot I'm sweating even during the winter okay still mixing it for three minutes yeah our weather is crazy here oops let me get my alcohol rag I just noticed I dropped it over there by my fire and you never want to keep your alcohol rag near where you keep your flame at because alcohol and flames don't mix and safety first you don't want to have any problems with your um you know with anything catching on fire hmm wonder where everybody's at and everything it's freezing in Melbourne poor Carol wonder where everybody's at mix two ounces I'm serious I'm barely barely putting any in the bottom but I'm only going to put a couple of drops in there because I'm gonna use inks because I want them to be a little translucent okay and it never fails these lights are gonna be killing me okay so I'm gonna do a couple of drops I'm using Phil Martin's iridescent Rose Lake and I'm only going to put like two drops I mean it's hard for you to see what's in here there's not much in these cups and right fact this one looks like it's got a little bit too much because all I'm gonna do is put a clear coat down and then I'm gonna do some little wispies of this oh thank you so much Carol I don't have any sound effects well hello Tish but um if y'all want to go ahead and say Dabo that's okay everybody here knows about da bow from UM from Trey's channel man I am sweating right behind my glasses I feel you know what I always say when I'm sweating that bad I feel like a stuffed pig in mud thank you thank you thank you Carol so everybody wants to go ahead and say duh buh I don't have a Dabo clip to play okay oops I lost my little thingy in there oh my god okay let me just use a stick I my drop is down okay so I'll just get a little bit of it this way cuz you don't need a whole lot okay there we go [Music] I'll have to fish that out later I haven't use these inks for a while so it's probably what happened but hey you know that's the that's the fun of going live you never know what's gonna happen hey look I got my I got my thing this time my little um okay I'm only gonna put like two little drops in there okay it's not coming out ha ha thank you very much Carol whoops almost dropped it okay I'm gonna use the stick on this one too this dropper is not not working either okay I got some purple hopefully the Bombay ink doesn't give me any problems you never know I should have shook him and checked them before I went live huh okay there we go I got some turquoise yay house when she said yeah drop her dropped okay why is this lid not going back on I will check it after the live and I got a little bit of white because I want to do like like um I don't know what would you call it clouds [Music] okay just two little drops in there it's not gonna look it I'm gonna have to bring it up probably go see it's it's very very transparent but that's what I'm trying to go for so there's my magenta there is my purple hopefully it's not too transparent well we'll find out I may have to add another drop to it okay ah this one's a little darker this is the Bombay ah quite think yeah aqua the other two were dr. pH Martin's um iridescent and I probably should have stuck with the UH Oh Carol I will say a prayer for you I hope everything turns out okay and yes I wish you could stay here too that does God would be more fun than the doctors but you keep your chin up girl and we'll be thinking of you love you Carol and I've been eating my veggies just for you okay now here are some magenta Bombay I'm gonna put one drop in there see if that makes it just a little bit darker oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah still translucent now it's gonna have that shimmer in there too okay and now I'm gonna do see I probably should have just stuck with the bombay's anyway that color was magenta I'm gonna put list of colors down below I'm also going to do I broke out the glitter glass and I'm also going to do a little sprinkling or glitter glass on it just to see if that gives it any any sparkle okay let's see here oh yeah oh yeah still transparent but it looks a lot better okay now I watched a couple other artists do it to see what would be the best way to do this and what I'm gonna do is it's not going to be a lot but I'm gonna put a little coat of clear I'm gonna save some of the clear for something else I'm just gonna spread it out with my fingers because I just want a nice thin coat on it because I don't want I no want it to run off is what I don't want okay and all I use Star Trek fans out there can tell me if this looks like a galaxy far far away or whatever that Star Trek people say god I freaked this along since I've actually watched Star Trek I forgot what they say a hot dry spot that's what he said well hello Cynthia nice to see you're popping in okay very very thin coat on there now I'm just gonna do oh oh you may not be able to see this well well we will see when I block when I bring it up how it looks oh I may have had to make these I should have made these darker oh my goodness okay okay let's see and I'm gonna put a smidgen of white in there god I probably should have made them a little bit darker okay now you know pop my little air bubbles and you can't even see the colors I'm gonna pop my air bubbles we're with them always turn your air gun on or your heat gun erasing routines for five seconds floaters are the nasty on dust boogers out of there you can hardly see it [Applause] Hey I am not happy with this huh this is why I wanted to do a test on a little dry spot right there now I got a bigger dry spot that's our play of the window a little bit of clear today I binder okay I am definitely not happy with those colors state turned out like crap excuse my language but hey they say crap on TV let me see what I can find over here that might match it here I'll put a little bit I'll put a little bit of the sky-blue in with the turquoise to give it a little bit of something can hopefully make it a little opaque I got a whole drawer powders over here I got all three sets of the UM of the what you call uh those little ones that you get from they get in sets at Michael's I got all three sets Thank You Tish all right Julia okay [Music] I do not know what this is gonna do in there but we'll find out hopefully it gives it some more color because you can barely see the colors see I'm glad I did a test run and I didn't embarrass myself on that other channel okay now I need a purple of course one of these are colored water in here and well it's a light purple but it'll do it'll do hi this one hasn't been open yet up unicorn firts in case anybody that doesn't know that's what happens when when the I sparkly pretty look that's the white oh there's my purple huh that's what happens when the nice pretty powders come up get back in your faith go back in your face a unicorn farther that yeah because that's what it would look like if a unicorn farted okay let's see now okay now you can see some of it okay now we're cooking with gas right I don't know what this blues gonna well it's going to lighten this aqua a little bit but it's going to make it a little bit more opaque and I don't want it exactly all over because I want you to see the little stars underneath okay now let's see I forgot to leave them out but the powders that I added I will add it down below in the description later after they you to decides it is done with my editing my video or processing or whatever it is it does okay let me see something get a little bit more white in here let me see if I can blow this out now [Applause] there we go [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I want you to still be able to see the stars in the background [Applause] [Applause] that it's gonna have to do for the color let me see if I can I have a little tiny spoon back here well you know what I can use one of these I was doing bloom pours there we go now cuz I can't stick my glove in there cuz it's all sticky but I wanted to do like a galaxy looking thing with this ooh see if I can take it a little bit farther whoops but you know what when I finally get it get it done it's gonna have a symbol painted on it because it's gonna be given away on that live well hello Tracy nice to see you let's see what time it is yeah I got time to do one more let me show you this one it's kind of hard to see my little stars so I'm gonna have to probably let's see let me stick all these over here okay make it four more cups I got all whoops oh I don't know if that's the right size okay I should have had these out but I didn't know I would have time to do a second one now I got this other one and I probably should have done some of this I had done I had tried my hardest with some with some ink to do some little stars like that so let me put this down I'm probably not going to use all the colors that oh well you know such as life there's not much in these little cups [Music] I'm just gonna get what I can out of here now come on okay there we go yep that's about all I'm gonna get out of that cup let me turn this on its side so the stick will stay where it's supposed to stay let me push this out these are not very well drawn stars but you know what they're going to be covered up partially by resin so maybe they won't look that bad then okay because I don't know if I want to keep the stars on there or not okay don't know how much of this I want to put on because I want the stars to the little stars to show through I mean it's like duh I went through all that trouble to paint him I'm trying this time to do it instead of going all over with it I'm trying to do like a like a little controlled area I don't know if it's gonna work okay a little bit of purple yeah that powder that purlettes powder and there made the difference so I'm gonna have to write that down in the description after they process my video and see oh if you want to try it you can put the powders in there hey there's a little bit of white on thinking of doing some German glitter glass right there down the middle okay I [Music] mean go over it heat it up and pop the bubbles not much residents I doubt there's many bubbles okay now let me give it a little bit of movement trying to heat the center just a little bit there of color to dust I look like German glitter [Applause] [Applause] well I think that looks like a galaxy okay now let me get my little jar where did I do it my little spoon what did I do with that little spoon oh I put it over here if I didn't have ear wax in my ears I would lose my brain sometimes okay let me put a little bit right here down the middle and then a little little tiny splatters near the outside yeah I got not all I could off of it okay I will bring this one up for a close-up I I like this one better I don't know you guys tell me what you think sorry about the glare dark colors Inlet resin do not make look for a really photogenic piece thank you so much Gina I think I got too much see these are 6x6 this and I think I got too many too many too much color on it okay and now let me move him out of the way so I don't drip on them and here is my other one which tell me which one you think the first one I did or oh hello Tina Alabama's in the house how are you doing a ninety nine I was seeing you in a hot minute okay this is the first one I did so which one we bring this over which one do you think looks better now she might get my galaxy right here or my German glitter glass this one tracy the second one or the first one I'm doing house that I'm baking in my in my apartment cuz it's just that kind of a night you know so anyway well I learned a few things learn a few things about the colors I'm gonna try you like the second one yeah it's got its got more glitter glass in it if you notice that it's got a little bit more glitter glass in it so I got to rethink this I got to rethink this I mean I got two more than I'm gonna try over here at a later date to figure it out and these are going to get a little symbols put on them symbols that are copyrighted but I'm only giving the thing away so nobody can yell at me I'm not selling it because I'll be giving it away I think it's August 4th I'll put it in the next couple of weeks I'll put it in my community tab I'm going to be interviewed over on trays Channel and I'm going to give away not the painting I'm doing I'm gonna give away one of these or you know after I get the symbol on it one of the one of this one of the ones that I you know I'll be giving them away that night so
