How to Create Your Employee Handbook with Pages

[Music] process streets pages let you create living process documents and securely share them with everyone in your team you can record your employee handbook company mission statement hr policies and much much more better yet pages are completely free to your whole company to create or view it doesn't matter whether you have 10 or 10 000 people in your company pages are free forever pages also pair brilliantly with workflows in process street workflows store your actionable processes letting you track each instance of a process as it happens pages instead let you capture and organize operational knowledge and sops they're also a great place to store any knowledge you aren't ready to turn into an actionable workflow yet such as research on new practices better still you can link to workflows in your pages and vice versa so no one will ever be lost for what they need to do your pages are stored in your main library or in your folders the same places as your workflows you can tell if an item is a page or a workflow by looking at the icon to the left of their name to create a new page click the new button in the top left of your dashboard then click on page from the drop down start by filling in the title of your new page you'll need to do this before your page can be published then start typing you can type normally or copy and paste in text from elsewhere to start a new paragraph just hit enter on your keyboard by highlighting text you can turn it into a heading format it with bold italics underscores strikethroughs change text and background color and create anchor links you can also click the plus button to add media such as images and file attachments or click and drag on the left of a piece of content to move it within the page pages has an auto save feature so don't worry about navigating away you can see if there are any unsaved changes by checking for an exclamation mark by the edit draft button at the top of the screen to apply your changes to the page click publish once you've published your page you can share it with others click the share button in the top right of the page from here you can invite users set permissions for those users and create a shareable link for your page in the permissions tab you can control exactly who has access to view or edit and share your page for example your hr group of users could have edit and share access to your employee handbook page while everyone else can only view it in the share link tab you can create a link to share the page with anyone you want highlight and copy the link or click this button and paste it anywhere you want be it in slack or salesforce to keep things secure you can also choose whether to limit access via the link to people only in your process street organization or to anyone who has the link for example if you document your employee handbook it's best to only let people in your organization view the link in case it's shared outside of your company however if you have some terms of service for clients you could make them visible to anyone with the link you can also add this share link into workflows so that users can access your pages from other processes in your organization for example in your employee onboarding workflow you can add links to your hr policy pages which allows your new hires to read all the necessary hr documentation finally you can click these three dots at the top of your page to open a menu that allows you to copy the share link directly view the activity on your page add and manage the tags of your page to easily find it move duplicate archive or delete your page stop getting lost in documentation spread over multiple apps and locations sign up for process street and pages for free today at process.st [Music] [Music] you
