in today's video you are going to be learning  how to create dynamic selectors dynamic   selectors will allow you to automate pretty  much anything it is something that has came up   many times and many of you rpa champions  have asked me to create a dedicated video   on how to create dynamic selectors dynamic  selectors will allow you to integrate and   automate pretty much anything that is out there in  the web allowing you to spy all kinds of different   elements and put them inside of your loop let's  start with a four step process step one we have to   record a selector not just any selector we have  to record two selectors so from power automate   launch the web recorder just by clicking on the  web recorder go to the page that you would like to   integrate and start spying the different elements  after hitting record you'll have the chance to spy   the different elements so we're going to have to  select the first element that we are going to spy   and then we are going to select a second element  from the same category of elements that we want   to integrate and spy so we're going to select one  two and then additionally if you want more three   or four elements step two let's create a variable  now we're gonna need a variable and set it to zero   so again from power automate let's search from  the actions pane let's look for set variable   and let's add the set variable action to our  process by adding the set variable action   we also have to rename it into something  meaningful like i usually rename it into   var name which is very meaningful and add zero  step three now we have to work with selectors   so we have created or spied the two elements  now we have to compare the elements of the two   selectors that we have spied i have copied this  selector and i have pasted it inside of the main   selector so that i can look for the differences  and here it is here is the difference the zero   changes to four so i know that this is where i'm  going to add my variable i'm going to take out   the zero and the four which is the part that  changes and i will insert my variable inside increment in step four so we have to also  increment our variable so that it changes   from zero to one to three to four and so on  so let's add the action increase variable   to our process and let's usually add it at  the end of the loop that we have so by the   end of the loop the variable is going to get  increment and in the next cycle of the loop   the tool will know exactly that it has to  click in the next iteration or on the next   button so that's pretty much it this is how you  create a dynamic variable i hope that you have   enjoyed and i will see you in the next video we're  over dependent on automation i can see that now
