How To Create Cool 3d Screen Effect In Premiere Pro And After Effects

how you going do you see this have you ever wanted to create this effect but you don't know how because you're not a 3D specialist well today I will teach you how you can do these 3D screen effects easily both on Premier Pro and after effects so you can improve your Boll or a footage unit to make it to look like it's inside the screen so stick around to the end because I will be sharing some exciting information about that effect and we going to use it so let's go ahead and open premere Pro wait wait wait wait before we get started started you have to follow with me this tutorial so go ahead and get your footage you want to apply this effect on and back to the video so when you've got your test footage already just drag and drop a pixelated LED screen overlay on top and then say it up until it covers the screen then go and change the blend mode to hardlight and set the opacity around 15% miss this two clips together and then go to effects and presets and search for basic 3D effects drug and drop that into the nested layers and change the values until it looks something like this and then when it's ready create new key frames move forward a couple of frames and change those values here again to create a new key frame and slide them into the end of that clip create an adjustment layer and drag and drop it above your nested sequence go ahead to effects and presets and search for ging blur and drag that into your adjustment layer and put the values until it's bit blurry like that and then we will create a mask so we can have the depth of field blow effects make it more realistic invert it and adjust the mask to the edges and edit the value of further so you can make it more appearing and you know play with the values until it just blew out the edges and voila beautiful doesn't that deserve a like And subscribe no okay to let you know we can do it way better using After Effects because after effects give us a lot more options to make it so much better and more realistic wait don't close Premier Pro yet and just go ahead and like we did before just drag and drop that pixelated screen LED overlay above you test footage scale it up again then change the blend mode to hardlight and edit the opacity to about 15% then we're going to highlight those two layers in After Effects you're going to select those two layers and then right click and precompose and then click this 3D cube thing here which is going to make it 3D to change these variables of these 3D effects like we did in Premier Pro we have to go to our precomposed layer and open the transform section and then you can use this sample visual a thingd to help you adjust your layer so uh you know just keep R to the variables and go forward a few frames and change the value again which will make new key frames and then here you got an animation my advice for you here is you don't do a lot of movement and sweeping rotating or this stuff and just do a simple One Way movement click you on the keyboard and just select all those key frames we made and hit F9 in your keyboard this is going to create an easy as effect which just going to smooth the animation now we have to add the depth of field Camera blur to make it just as realistic as we can then go ahead and right click to new and then create camera leave the settings as they are open up those camera options and enable the depth of field this thing add the effect of that realistic blur when a camera is too close to a thing and blur the edges and it just makes it look nicer so just add it what are you waiting for and here you just edit this aperture value just by your eye or to make it look something like that and here you go back to Premier Pro and look at what you did and you can add whatever overlay wish to add above it congratulations you did it so let's have a look for what we've made on this video [Laughter] so there you go we have learned a new effect today and to be honest we did a great job so if you're a video editor who watches my videos just practice with any effect I do and just not watch and forget about the effects because as you know learning and practicing is just way better than just learning so if you're still here and want to watch some more videos of me here is a video where I shared with you my journey to become a video editor it may help you know some stuff about video editing and more so for now I have to end this video right now
