How to Create Anchor Links on Elementor (Step by Step)

in this video i'm going to show you how you can set up anchor links on elementor for free so for this you don't need the pro version of elementor you can just do with the free one so in this video i'll show you step by step how you can set up anchor links if you don't know what an anchor link is it's pretty much a link where you can send someone from a starting point on your website to the endpoint so let's say that people click on this button over here if they then click you can send them over to a different part on your website which might be over here now this is that i mean that's actually quite simple so in this video i'm going to show you how you can do it before we get started with that i would appreciate it if you can leave a like on this video i'm not going to sell you anything i don't sell any courses to you guys i'm not trying to like get your money so all i'm going to ask for in return is a like on the video now with all of that being said let's just get started all right so you want to go to the page that you want to do this on and then once you're done on that page like once you've uh i mean like open the page you want to find the starting point now for me the starting point is going to be this button over here the call to action button now it can also be this but i'm going to use this button so what you can do is select it so that you can edit click on the edit icon right there and then you'll find link now you're going to use this to set up the anchor link so what you can do is type literally anything to use it for your link so i'm going to say how to digital dash demo so what you can do is copy this because we're going to need this but first of all i'm going to update it so that it will actually save so right now i've added this this link to this button over here what we're going to do next is go to the endpoint so this is going to be the start point if we go over here this would be the endpoint for example so what you would do is pretty much select a section or like a text go to advanced and then css id what you would then do is paste that in there without the hashtag all right so don't paste the hashtag in here just like pretty much paste whatever you used as the um like anchor link right i just typed in how to digital dash demo but you can go with anything to be honest all right then click save if we now go to our website i want to show you guys that it actually works so hopefully i did everything right i'm pretty sure i didn't forget anything so if you click right here if you just if you guys just take a look at the link that showing up in the bottom left corner i'll ask my editor to zoom in on it so that you can guys get so that you guys can see it it also says at the end hashtag how to digital dash demo which is cool if we then click you can see it scrolls down over here and that's exactly how you can do it so oops let me go over here we can also direct them to a different section on our website but that's pretty much how you can do this guys so once again let's demonstrate it click right there and it scrolls down that's pretty cool right so yeah that's how you can set up anchor links on elementor if this video helps you out once again i would appreciate a like if you have any questions just let me know and then i'll see you next time have a good day
