Elementor 06 | Adding Button Anchors | Jump To A Section On Button Click | Virtual Crafts

[Music] hello again and welcome to virtual crafts in this video i'll explain how we can create button anchors using button anchors we can connect different sections of our website for example now this button is connected to an anchor of another section on the same page and when i click this button it will not redirect me to another page rather it will scroll the website to a section where the anchor is connected like this so as you can see button anchors are a great way to provide an easy navigation to your users throughout your website i've already created a video on how we can link these menu items with the factions we use anchors for that as well if you have not seen that video you'll find the link in description i'll personally recommend that you use these menu anchors and a button anchors where needed as these present your website in a very appealing and elegant way so let's get started how we can create button anchors i'll edit this page with elementor i'm on my elementor editor now i'll scroll down let's say i want to connect this button on any section of this website whether that section is below or above of this button for example if this button goes to the contact form let me change the text now first i'll have to create the contact form anywhere on this page i'll scroll down and i'll add the contact form here search for the widget form and drag it in the content area now the form is placed i'll give this section a heading let me copy this one and paste it here i'll have to give it some padding to make it distant from the form so let's say i'll give it a bottom padding of some pixels and the same with top padding okay now we'll have to place an anchor to the place where we want the website to scroll when we click that button go to widgets again and search for a widget anchor now drag this widget to the place where you want the website to scroll i'll add it here now you'll have to give this anchor an id the id could be capital letters from a to z and small letters or the numerals from 0 to 9. let's say give it an id of contact now scroll to the place where you have the button to link to this section click it and here you will have to put the link to that anchor first you will enter the hash symbol now this symbol is must if you don't put this symbol your button will not be linked to your anchor and then you'll have to write the id of the anchor that you specified already which is contact okay now the anchor is created update your changes and preview the site i'll scroll down to the place where my button is placed and now when i click this button it will take me to the contact form here so this is how you create button anchors in elementor and interconnect different sections of your website with the buttons placed on them if you have any question you can ping me up in the comment section if you like the video please subscribe to the channel and hit the bell icon next to it to receive the notifications of every latest video uploaded thank you and see you in the next video
